Jessica Simpson was very beautiful in this film. I get that they were attempting to copy the television show, but they took it to far with her. The outfits she wore were way more revealing than on the show. It is very tempting to want to be around these type of girls, but you want to for the wrong reasons.

If there is anything that is still as enjoyable about this movie back then that still holds up today, it's Jessica Simpson. I know she got a lot of rap about being the one playing Daisy Duke, but I am probably one of the few people that didn't have that much of a problem with Jessica Simpson playing Daisy Duke that wasn't a fan of the movie. No, where my problems were with the way the characters were written, and especially Johnny Knoxville and Sean William Scott playing Luke Duke and Bo Duke. To me, they made Bo and Luke look like idiots.

Yeah she's beautiful but that is one of the worst fake Southern accents I've ever heard, and she's from Texas which makes it crazy that she can't pull a real accent off and had some dialect coach teach her an antebellum South accent in 2005 for some reason.

Actually, the role Daisy Duke was originally cast for a blond (similar to Daisy Mae from the old Lil Abner comic strip. Al Capp always drew country women as either hideously ugly or impossibly sexy.) But Catherine Bach nailed the audition, and the rest is history.
