Yes, and that should have translated better on screen but I don’t feel the season lived up to the chemistry they have in real life. Most everything about season 3 fell flat. Colin and Pen didn’t feel like true leads this season because all the attention was drawn elsewhere in other subplots. It’s truly a darn shame!!!
Yes, such great chemistry! And of course they are passionate, yet they show so much tenderness towards each other. So much caring. The first two relationships were fantastic, but this one is just... beautiful.

I could watch Nicola/Luke and Pen/Colin nonstop. The actors are as delightful as their characters. I hope Sholandaland takes note for the future seasons and adds them as much as possible. I said it before, but I’d love to see a friendship blossom between Pen and the Queen. I want them to have what Pen and Lady Danbury had in the book. And I want Nicola and Luke to head up all the PR. Together.
There is so much Lady Whistledown could do in future seasons, this season we saw Polin fight their way to be accepted and accept themselves, there was lots of drama in their story, now we would love to see them really thriving in this society, we would love to see them happy as a couple and as individuals

Regardless of any critiques I’ve expressed of how S3 was handled, Nicola and Luke were hands down the reason I was excited to watch and root for Polin this season. Credit to Shonda for seeing the potential in these actors, and all without a chemistry read! The wedding dance was my favorite scene in Part 2 so huge credit also to Jack Murphy for choreographing. I was thrilled when Nicola released the full clip of them dancing on Instagram because they really do move beautifully together and it was a great summary of what seems to be a wonderful relationship between them these last 5 years. Once their roles in Bridgerton are officially over, or maybe before, I hope people will seek them out for other major roles. I’m glad to see Nicola already getting great opportunities. They seem like genuinely likeable people who take their craft seriously and to dedicate 6 months to a world PR tour, while being so sweet and patient with the more passionate fringes of the fan base, is also incredibly impressive. If we’re lucky, maybe we’ll see them grace the screen together again in the future, with hopefully better storytelling and directing (no offense). It doesn’t even have to be a romantic story, though I did love the rom-com elements, the willow tree scene being my favorite from Part 1. But I’d also love to see them playing characters wildly different from Polin, as I imagine they would too, and clearly they have the chemistry and acting chops to pull it off. Either way, I wish nothing but the best for them in their future endeavors and I’m just glad that hopefully now in S4 we’ll just see Polin happy, no more unnecessary excessive angst, but let me not go there...
100% I could have them on my screen 24/7 all season long and a would have lapped it up like a puppy. As it stand their scenes are the only ones on repeat for me. I have liked the previous couples but not to this level they bring me in like magnets. I had an inkling when I saw them in the first 2 season that they would capture my heart if they were to be coupled (at that point I had not read the book) and they got me hook line and sinker. They have the type of chemistry that really draws me in.
Completely disagree Season 3 served…was it perfect no….nothing extra episodes or a longer run time per episode wouldn’t have fixed….but it was a beautiful romantic love story. Of which Nicola & Luke were out standing in.

Nicola and Luke carried this season, and although I would have loved to have at least 5 minutes more screen time for them, it works well for me given their story development in seasons one and two. If you look back and put the puzzle pieces together (and many great fan edits on RUclips are quite good at it), it shows a story arch that works for me. We will see more of them and lovely scenes of marital bliss in season 4!! If only it would not take two years to get there...
In my mid thirties now and had thought fan girling like a teenage over a book and a tv show was not gonna happen to me, till Luke and Nichola came as the leads of the S3 of Bridgerton. Love their authenticity and genuineness. They reminded me that this world still has genuine and talented people who are also down to earth. I want them to be in each others lives forever. Shondaland did the best with S3. I am thrilled and thrilled. Love them so much.

Nicola and Luke did an incredible job. Got very little to do with the book by part 2, but it's it's own story and they were fabulous. Still wish we'd have Luke saying: “I love you for the children we’ll have and for the years we’ll have together. I love you for every one of my smiles, and even more, for every one of your smiles.” Even without the whole speech from the book, that line works for the show too.

Polin are the heart of the Bridgerton story 💛 I hope they keep bits with Jonny and Simone and Luke and Nicola throughout the rest of the seasons. They are wonderful actors who have created such fun characters and bring a lovely energy to the show. Plus it’d be great to see how those couples develop. Some happiness and fun amongst all the drama!

Colin & Penelope are always going to be my favorite love story, and the fact that it was brought to life by Luke and Nicola was honestly something magical. It's the kind of magic you get so rarely between actors. It's almost as if fate played a role, as literally nobody else could ever be Colin or Pen. I love Brigerton as a whole of course, and im looking for to Benedict and Eloise's stories especially, but with the magic of Polin mixed in. But I definitely know that as long as they keep coming back to be Colin and Penelope, I'll keep watching ❤.

My absolute favorite leads, my favorite love story of Bridgerton. They put so much of themselves into this story and it is bittersweet having it end. I wish we got more of them this season, but I will be content with what we did get because it was beautiful nonetheless. This season was so amazing. I really loved it. I had watched s1 out of curiosity when it came out, and it was okay I guess, but then I didn't really think too much about it until I saw that s3 had premiered. I think I saw something or another about s2, but wasn't interested in watching it. When s3 arrived and I saw the posts on twitter I was so curious about it. I loved the characters of Colin and Pen in s1 so I really wanted to watch their story unfold. I watched s2 so I wasn't completely lost and got into s3 quickly, and I'm afraid I never left. I'm rewatching it because it was so good. I'm specially thankful for Luke and Nic and how their amazing chemistry made everything come together and work magically. This was, undoubtedly (to me) the best season so far. I'm not sure how other seasons are going to live up to it, but I'm READY for more Polin, even if it's only on the background.
I have such an overwhelming sense of ambivalence for Season 3. Penelope and Colin are my faves and I was so very excited for them to move to the forefront. And while there were some beautiful moments for them, I walked away feeling like the characters didn't really get the season they deserved. There were way too many moving parts in Season 3. Period. I watched the entire thing as soon as it was available, and at the end of it I couldn't shake the feeling I'd missed something. So I gave it several days and circled back, rewatched, and still had the same feeling. So I watched Season 1 and Season 2 (and Queen Charlotte too!) and I knew for sure I wasn't imagining it. I haven't seen or heard a compelling argument to sway me from the opinion that Penelope and Colin were very obviously shortchanged when their love story is held up against the leads of the other seasons. I realize it's a waste of energy and effort to try and express these sentiments now because the production team's focus has moved on. But still, it needs to be said. Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton did an exceptional job with what they were given. Just wish it had been more.
Perfectly expressed in written form. I felt bereft and unable to articulate my feelings for this storyline in S3. I did what you did as well. Rewatching all 4 stories and still feeling short changed for Colin and Penelope.

This has been my favourite Bridgerton season so far and it feels like their love story is just bigger and more enduring than the other couples, possibly because the Polic arc spans the first two seasons as well. Truly sad that the season is done because it has been such a treat to watch Nic and Luke together.
This season is my favorite so far. I’ve connected so much with each leading lady. Shonda has such a way of storytelling that pulls the heart in ❤ can’t wait for season 4. I’m almost done with book 4, feel like book five and Francesca’s storyline will break my heart and I’m actually looking forward to it ❤😂❤
I love hearing Nicola’s Irish lilt. It’s so charming. They are adorable together, onscreen and off. I hope they both take some time off though, they have done so much press for this season, they must be completely wiped out.

Reading the book was a rollercoaster of emotions, watching it materialize on screen was incredible, I felt so hard for them, I enjoyed very much watching Colin pursue Pen and realize he was in love, I got angry with him for being so harsh on Pen, I cried with Pen when Colin was cold and distant. I don't have a favorite scene because I can't choose. Now whenever I re-read their book I will picture Nicola and Luke and I love it.

This season could have been 20 episodes, and I would still be wanting more. Penelope and Colin's love, I can't stand how they aren't going to be a focus in the next season!!
With the thousands of hours of repeat viewing of this Season; I hope Shondaland & Netflix senses the goldmine they have and uses the hundreds of hours of extra footage we know they shot for Pen and Colin and releases a lovely "Extended Scenes" or "Lost Edits" episode about a year from now. I'm sure it would pull huge numbers and would simultaneously satisfy the fans craving for more Polin & hold them over until Season 4. As long as it's packaged as "extras" it also wouldn't have to affect the integrity or continuity of the original episodes. I noticed in this clip that the market scene was shot with Penelope in two different costumes. I think the fans would love to see alternate versions.
Nicola and Luke’s natural chemistry is everything! Just wish season 3 had a little more of them as opposed to side storylines . Previous seasons main couples seemed to get more screen time then this one. Definitely hoping we’ll see a good amount of them next season at least…

Just incredible, took me over an hour to watch and really soak it in. There is so much love and tenderness here from Luke and Nic and for their craft. Feels like they’re just hanging out and having a good time ❤

This season was so amazing. I really loved it. I had watched s1 out of curiosity when it came out, and it was okay I guess, but then I didn't really think too much about it until I saw that s3 had premiered. I think I saw something or another about s2, but wasn't interested in watching it. When s3 arrived and I saw the posts on twitter I was so curious about it. I loved the characters of Colin and Pen in s1 so I really wanted to watch their story unfold. I watched s2 so I wasn't completely lost and got into s3 quickly, and I'm afraid I never left. I'm rewatching it because it was so good.
I'm specially thankful for Luke and Nic and how their amazing chemistry made everything come together and work magically. This was, undoubtedly (to me) the best season so far. I'm not sure how other seasons are going to live up to it, but I'm READY for more Polin, even if it's only on the background.
I have such an overwhelming sense of ambivalence for Season 3. Penelope and Colin are my faves and I was so very excited for them to move to the forefront. And while there were some beautiful moments for them, I walked away feeling like the characters didn't really get the season they deserved. There were way too many moving parts in Season 3. Period. I watched the entire thing as soon as it was available, and at the end of it I couldn't shake the feeling I'd missed something. So I gave it several days and circled back, rewatched, and still had the same feeling. So I watched Season 1 and Season 2 (and Queen Charlotte too!) and I knew for sure I wasn't imagining it. I haven't seen or heard a compelling argument to sway me from the opinion that Penelope and Colin were very obviously shortchanged when their love story is held up against the leads of the other seasons. I realize it's a waste of energy and effort to try and express these sentiments now because the production team's focus has moved on. But still, it needs to be said. Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton did an exceptional job with what they were given. Just wish it had been more.
Perfectly expressed in written form. I felt bereft and unable to articulate my feelings for this storyline in S3. I did what you did as well. Rewatching all 4 stories and still feeling short changed for Colin and Penelope.

I haven't watched S3 yet BUT I watch everything I can with Luke and Nicola! They are that real. Best PR the show could have.
Thank you Shondaland for bringing this beautiful love story to screen. Thank you Nic and Luke for portraying Pen and Colin so perfectly for all of us to see. This has been my favourite Bridgerton season so far and it feels like their love story is just bigger and more enduring than the other couples, possibly because the Polic arc spans the first two seasons as well. Truly sad that the season is done because it has been such a treat to watch Nic and Luke together.

This season is my favorite so far. I’ve connected so much with each leading lady. Shonda has such a way of storytelling that pulls the heart in ❤ can’t wait for season 4. I’m almost done with book 4, feel like book five and Francesca’s storyline will break my heart and I’m actually looking forward to it ❤😂❤

Reading the book was a rollercoaster of emotions, watching it materialize on screen was incredible, I felt so hard for them, I enjoyed very much watching Colin pursue Pen and realize he was in love, I got angry with him for being so harsh on Pen, I cried with Pen when Colin was cold and distant. I don't have a favorite scene because I can't choose. Now whenever I re-read their book I will picture Nicola and Luke and I love it.
Also... Luke's hair... ugh. Should've kept them curls on for the whole season. Splendid.

I just want to live this season again and again. It is romance, even the passion between them isn't just lust, it's like a pot that's been on just a bit too low, and the burner has finally been turned on to full, and now the water is a full boil. This season could have been 20 episodes, and I would still be wanting more. Penelope and Colin's love, I can't stand how they aren't going to be a focus in the next season!!

With the thousands of hours of repeat viewing of this Season; I hope Shondaland & Netflix senses the goldmine they have and uses the hundreds of hours of extra footage we know they shot for Pen and Colin and releases a lovely "Extended Scenes" or "Lost Edits" episode about a year from now. I'm sure it would pull huge numbers and would simultaneously satisfy the fans craving for more Polin & hold them over until Season 4. As long as it's packaged as "extras" it also wouldn't have to affect the integrity or continuity of the original episodes. I noticed in this clip that the market scene was shot with Penelope in two different costumes. I think the fans would love to see alternate versions.

Nicola and Luke’s natural chemistry is everything! Just wish season 3 had a little more of them as opposed to side storylines . Previous seasons main couples seemed to get more screen time then this one. Definitely hoping we’ll see a good amount of them next season at least…

I have read the book. The book is wonderful. The program is outstanding. Bringing this story to life. But it's about time some show. Show women in different body forms. That actually finds love true love. And they look past the indifference is of their shape of body and find True love. And also the inner person who is a beautiful beautiful person.
