Great quote "bodybuilding is like building a sand castle" Stan has fitness down to a science dude is a beast. Good point about fatigue to stimulus ratio.

Some very very good insight on training and actual over training fatigue that can be misunderstood. Injury and long term muscle damage can cause miscalculation & other DOMS issues that need to be mindful of.

I feel like reverse dieting only works if you are adding the energy expenditure increase above BMR that is necessary to compensate for the energy intake increase (not considering potential muscle increase in the process).

Some of these guys act like they forgot about carb cycling. Rather they just say we need carbs to fuel our workouts and he’s saying yes protein is important but carbs are necessary. How about this? Carbs are necessary a couple times a week, maybe a few, while body recomping, but it’s best to use them in smaller amounts around your most intense workouts of the week. The rest of the time should just be meat, eggs, vegetables, lean protein shakes, and maybe a little fruit here and there.

Fasting works, you can lift while fasted
The body knows how to convert sugars and fasting protects muscles as long as you got ketones circulating.
No need for carbs ever, but do you.

Fasting and Keto is a stress on the body, I can’t sleep on it, adrenaline goes up etc, I hate it, everybody is different.

not only that, he goes around bringing his own prepared food, needs to eat at least 4x a day to distribute protein

lol, last few pounds is relative. Fighter trying to make weight is different from a soccer mom trying to look like she was 10 yrs ago.
