A por "set". ___ Offhand, I don't know if I'm following a good clue, but when I look very quickly on the internet it seems that they say "set" to the position of a hunting dog, I guess when it stops like a statue and then "set on". If so, then the second meaning of "set on" would have to do with the first, as it would be as if the person is "set" just as the hound, and so then that "set"_person can then "set on" towards something. ___ So we have a relative of "lay" with this "set".
