Context for this child: before I started recording, he was begging for items on the server and generally being obnoxious to everyone else. But please, continue to leave your angry comments! I'm collecting them for another video I'm making, so the more I get the better.
As always, don't find the kid on Steam or RUclips and harass him. Despite what he may have done before or during the video, he doesn't deserve hate. Like every child, he will eventually grow up and realize that he was dumb as a kid. :)

I want to use voice chat, but i don't want people to think of me as that whining child that keeps spawning
Solution: use text chat. Nobody will know if your vocabulary and demeanor is mature enough. I used to do that when I was a squeaker and everybody thought I was 17. When your voice deepens then start using voice chat. Also make your steam name something funny that makes you look more "mature". When you get salty don't show it just leave the server and find a new one. You have control over how you respond. There's no reason to ever show somebody how mad you are because that just leads to them messing with you more.
Take this all from a former professional annoyance and former squeaker. Playing games online suck when you're a kid. You don't fit in with the older crowd, so they bully you to make themselves feel better and they know you can't do anything. It's also the best time to make some long lasting friends too. I've made some good friends from TF2 back in the day when I was just a dumb kid. Don't lose hope kiddo stay strong. Don't let anybody drag you down because of your voice. Don't let those temporary discomforts make you insecure. Enjoy the game.
This is also general life advice not just TF2 advice. When you become an adult you'll understand.

This is horrible, please never do this. Being obnoxious is not license enough to justify to becoming the target of relentless harassment. It is not a good reason to bully someone. The bullies are, as they often are, people self-professedly more mature. Clearly however, not every dumb kid grows up, because no mature human being would think its okay to harass someone for their own amusement and, in your case, profit.
This is just plainly not okay. Please change.

When I was 13 I remember watching videos like this and be like "oh my god I will never use my microphone again."
And because, when I was 11, I played CS: Source. I never knew that my mic was always on. So I was like "shit", "fuck" and "I'm so bad at this game" everytime someone kills me. Then, I hear someone laughing. And everyone who had microphones laughed. I tried to be as silent as I can be. When someone comes into a room, I tried to like silence them too. This truly damaged me. So I used microphone only to play CS:GO competitively.
