Thanks I really appreciate the video. Am thinking of getting a midi guitar and this one looks like a winner. Love your playing to illustrate the options.

Thanks for video. I learned about this guitar today and immediately went online and found one in mint condition for $1657. Tone Gods were looking out for me. Can't wait to get it. am a busker and use a channel switching amp with built in effects so my only pedal will be the expression pedal. All the other tones will be coming from guitar and battery powered amp which will trip people out. I am so happy for are digging it because the guy who left last comment was in the minority. It's not for everyone but definitely for me. Thanks for reinforcing what my intuition already told me.

This guitar does me remind of the Hammond condor which was a midi connected to a keyboard on a stand. I still have the guitar. 2000 euro is it well worth...

Great video. Is it compatible with GR series from Roland?

Great, but can it do the two sounds Pat Metheny used on his Roland guitar synth?

I tried this guitar on the shop... VERY BAD!!
    1) The fingerboard is so narrow that first I thought it's a children's guitar! And if you are use to play on a standard size guitar you will surely have difficulty adjusting to it much more if you are used to playing on a jazz guitar!!
    2) The switch between normal guitar and synthi is absolutely useless! It has only 2 poles: either guitar sound or synthi sound, no possibility to mix the two sounds together except if you have to connect 2 cables for each!! Bad concept!
    3) There's NO VOLUME CONTROL for the synthi sound, meaning you are *obliged* to purchase a specific volume pedal extra for the gear... very, bad!!

Specs says "42mm" neck width, which is about the same as a Fender Strat.. personally I prefer 1 3/4" which is >44mm, but that neck width sounds like a pretty standard one for that style of guitar.

Hoping it would be an upgrade from GR 55. It’s definitely not sounding usable to me. My GR cable drops the G and or B string out on occasion. Hoping for a cure.
