When I first heard Soundgarden and learned about Chris Cornel I knew he was SPECIAL. One of the very few singers who can effortlessly melt the paint off walls. Maybe the most powerful voice in Rock. God Bless Him.
Did you ever get to see him live? I seen him a few weeks before he died. It was amazing to finally get to see sound garden and hear him live. If you did not get to experience him live I am sorry.
Saw him live his last year, opening for NIN at Red Rocks. His voice was clear and he made a point of saying he was clean and feeling great, it was his birthday. Someday I’ll be able to listen to his records again
Some people have precious soul, and when they die, you start to believe in God, only because you don't want to admit their souls would vanish forever. Chris Cornell was one of them.
It's like he had an in built auto-tuner, he couldn't hit the tunes anything but just right. And the voice is inside him even without any support from his core! Sensitive and strong, I miss him.
I must have watched and listen to this 100 times in 4 days. That voice, an angel. RIP Chris. Those eyes, they are saying something. Absolute perfection.

You're correct on the lineup. Though I think Yogi and Pete are switching leads here, Pete plays lead in the intro and verses and Yogi take the lead during the guitar solo.

I'm from Colombia (South America), I went to his concert in Bogotá D.C.
