    So much better than all the corporate grey / black and weight-saving carbon we see these days.
    Do marketing teams no longer include anyone who understands the product photographs, & what editors / producers like to show the public on the various HDR colour media we have in modern society?

    No, it's not the best paint job on a mustang ever. They made it look like a fast car with panels from a junkyard. Oops. " Parts recycling" yard.😅

    Sadly this is about the only cool thing Ford has going right now... Building overpriced vehicles nobody can afford and marketing them falsely. I have a 2018 Mustang GT PP1, supposedly built to track. Has Track mode with Track apps, that Ford says are only to be used on track Even has a track use section in the manual. I put the car into limp mode at Road America in 12 minutes at a HPDE track day. Overheated and I was not pushing it that hard as it was my first time in this car. I later called Ford to file a complaint. They acted like I was a 3 headed monster for taking it on track. I tried to get Ford to buy the car back. They would not do it, and told me to file a lemon law complaint in my state. The last Ford I'll ever purchase....

      My dude, track use is unpredictable. Your Ford went into limp mode, sporty Toyota models are blowing their motors completely, as are Hondas and gm vehicles.
      There isn't a vehicle you can buy at a reasonable price where you can absolutely guarantee that it won't act up on track. I mean hell, race cars are literally engineers and designed just to be raced, and they run into issues during races.
      The mustang is generally a reliable tuning performance platform. I'm sorry your experience has been sub par, but there isn't a single car in human history where everyone has a flawless experience.

      You might need to upgrade your cooling to run on the track. Not uncommon for many sports cars to overheat during track use.

    • @jjgson69
      @jjgson69 20 дней назад +1

      @@jimbochoo3316 That is my whole point. Ford marketed the car as a track capable car, with Track apps, Track mode etc...which it is not capable of at all. Remember the GT350 lawsuit, owners sued Ford.... it's a similar situation. My 2010 Roush 427r will run at least two 20-25 minute sessions before it starts to overheat, and it does not go into limp mode and just shut down. Going into limp mode is a very dangerous thing to happen on track.If someone was behind me they would probably have run into me as It happened going into Canada Corner, where II was unable to accelerate out of the corner.

      @@themidnighttavern6784 As I stated to another on here, that is my whole point. Ford marketed the car as a Track capable car, with Track Mode, Track Apps, etc, which they state in their manual "is only to be used on track". Then when I called them about it, they questioned me about if I was racing it and why I had it on track. I explained it was a non competitive HPDE track day, which it is supposed to be able to do, according to Ford's marketing????? My 2010 Roush 427r will run 2 sessions before overheating, and that overheats because of the supercharger, but it does not shut down and go into limp mode, which is a very dangerous thing to have happen on track. No coincidence they added the additional cooling/coolers to the Mach 1 and Dark Horse.

      I have a 2019 GT350 that I sometimes take to the track in TX. I run in the red/lvl 4 run group in 20-25 min sessions and never overheat. Every GT350 owner that I know that has had engine issues all daily drove or never wait until the engine reaches operating temp before reving it out. Those of you that have overheating issues should change to 50W oil and add an oil cooler. I also have a Howe Racing TA2 race car and a race car rad and oil cooler are so big, I have to tape up the grill in the morning sessions or my oil runs too cold. Street cars just don’t make great track cars bone stock. I’ve had many Porsches, a Z06, and Japanese inline 4 sports cars and they all needed some mod to help cooling.

    I don't see what's so special about the paint job. BMW has been doing whacky paint jobs on "art cars" for 40 years.
