you should fly the milk run sometime emil but do both milk runs Anchorage to Cordova to Yakutat to Juneau then the next day Juneau to Petersburg to Wrangell to Ketchikan to Seattle
I know the bathroom is small but love the design - if it's gonna be small, they did it right! Remember that Russian plane you flew on from St. Petersburg? It had a WOODEN toilet seat!
hi qman. wasn't sure you would upload today after your red eye from phx last night. i fell asleep over iowa haha loved this milk run series, alaska looks like a bucket list item. great job buddy!
The Bombardier and Embraer planes were used by Alaska Horizon and Alaska Skywest which are the regional parts of Alaska Airlines. The main part of Alaska Airlines was supposed to be all Proudly All Boeing until Virgin America merged with them.
The Horizon livery was cool. I think the CRJ-700s look better with the Alaska livery while Q400 on the Horizon livery. BTW, CRJ-700s are my favorite planes and I know most people don't really like them as much as the 737s.
This Q re-view is brought to you by the always popular Coke with ice, and Biscoff cookie. I have watched this video several times and each time I'm amazed by the video Q captures on departure, in flight, and arrival. and the ramp view with the reflection is quite creative. So hit the like and sub buttons. Well done Quebec Foxtrot Sierra and thanks for sharing!!
Alaska Airlines is one of my favorites and in the top 3. I always get the cheese and fruit tray when I fly with them. I would more or less agree with your rating nut I would have given them a 9/10.
Oh my gosh! I remember seeing this in the Alaskan cruise we took. I said: "Look at that airport over there!" and I saw several GA aircraft as well as a few out of the ordinary 737s. I wondered where they were going. Now I know one.
Just Alaska I ride on this from Portland Oregon and Seattle Washington same that not much people sometimes much people. I ride on Alaska Airlines few people go Anchorage Alaska really quiet and cool. 🙂
Nice new interior. All 737-700s have these now, but since they’re only operated primarily in Alaska, they’re not common. However, FUCK the new lavatories! I can’t believe they would retrofit the 737 MAX-style lavatories on these planes!
I wonder how they cater at stations like Ketchikan. Are there flight kitchens there? Or do they take on extra catering at another station to be used from Ketchikan.
Great flight review! This May, I'm visiting my best friend who just moved to Honolulu and I'm flying Alaska for the first time. First leg is BOS to SFO, an 11 hour layover to see SFO and then second leg is SFO to HNL. Does Alaska provide free small snacks along with their beverage service? I've heard they're one of the better carriers in the U.S.
Thank you! Awesome! That sounds like a long travel day. Alaska provides free beverages, but I'm not so sure about snacks. They are a good carrier though
Matt Brohman Where did you hear that? To my knowledge, no decision has been made as to whether or not they’re keeping the Airbuses. They’ve been investing many millions in the fleet to repaint, as well as install the new interiors on them (the same interior on this aircraft is used on the Airbus).
@@jarekjellison817 that is what I thought but my friend's boyfriend is a flight attendant for Alaska and I have another friend who is a flight attendant for Virgin (now Alaska). They both said they were phasing the Airbus fleet out once leases are up. I think a bunch run up in 4 years.
Matt Brohman I keep hearing so many different things, both from the internet and AS pilots that I meet at both Aviation Days. Personally, I can’t really say whether or not they’re going to be keeping them. At first, they were really hesitant with taking all 10 A321neos, but later on they announced they’re taking delivery of all the jets. As far as the A320neos go, I don’t know. I think the chance of them cancelling those just went down because of the MAX groundings. Time will tell... From a pilot’s standpoint (I hope to be one soon), I think the Airbus ideology is crap. I’d rather have a central control column, and have a plane that is meant to be flown. But from a passenger standpoint, I really don’t mind.
Nice! Well, all I have to say is you will really enjoy Alaska! It is incredible and I hope you have a great time. Prepare for rain and moderately cold temperatures (50s average).
I already back from there, loved my trip there, Kenai, Soldotna, Nikiski, and Homer are all great, and the drive from Anchorage to there and back was great to
Surprisingly, these were newer than the 737-400s that AS formerly had (all those were manufactured in the early 90s, mainly 92), yet the -400s did not have these windows. Either they were patched or ordered without.
Beautiful nature and reliable plane. But I am not understanding why this young man fly on this route. Make merry anywhere. What for bathroom study? I appreciate how unlike you other videos, you used a slo-mo on lift-off - I assume because it was so pretty!
“Proudly all Boeing”
That was put on their planes before they've repainted the Airbuses.
Dante Emmett Furthermore, the Airbus, Bombardier, and Embraers do not feature that line.
The Bombardier and Embraer planes were used by Alaska Horizon and Alaska Skywest which are the regional parts of Alaska Airlines. The main part of Alaska Airlines was supposed to be all Proudly All Boeing until Virgin America merged with them.

The Ketchikan airport doesn't seem like it should be long enough to land those planes! Its kinda a rush!
