Thanks for sharing. We are pretty remote and we still keep a farm store. We make a few hundred extra a month just from our neighbors stopping by for eggs and veggies. It's very worth it!
I really like this idea, man. And the store looks awesome! My fiancé and I want to do something similar but unfortunately where we live we just can’t trust people in the community, and it’s really sad honestly, but I’d still like to do something like this even if I had to actually be at the store. Keep up the great work!! Would love to stop by sometime and get some fresh eggs! Lol
Sadly, in our semi rural area, we have thievery of every kind, even your dog will get stolen if he wanders too far. Folks have farmstands, but no one can do the honor system@@tannerfarmstead
Yes , it's a shame. I remember when I was young back in the 60s these were everywhere.. Today, because of drugs and less church activity people have become less moral ..😢
My husband and I ran electric to my greenhouse, we rented a trencher, added the breaker box etc. Pulling the wire was the hardest part. Since this video was a year ago, y'all might have done that already :)
That is awesome! We still run it off extension cords and it works fine. Having electrical ran would be nice but it won’t make our business another penny by having it run so I’m not doing it at this point lol
My dad is an electrician and he would not say you are an idiot. He has done this with our homestead for a few things. If it’s done correctly it can be safe.
I love it! I plan on doing this on my farm as well. I will definitely be copying a few of your ideas. Do you have air conditioning in their? And where did you get the refrigerator?
Thanks! I don’t currently cool it. I do put a space heater in winter tho on those really cold nights just to keep anything from freezing. I get. I get my refrigeration from Iron Mountain Refrigeration online. They are great folks and great customer service! I purchase the Pro Cool Refrigerators off their website and I’m very pleased with it
Seriously awesome setup! What are the dimensions of your shed? And what system do you use for the text club? Is it an app that sends out messages to everyone with that week’s fresh list? Thanks and keep on growin!
Our sign says no change available and exact amounts only. They also have option to write a check or pay with Venmo or Cash App if they only have large bills
@@tannerfarmstead maybe you could have Tanner Tokens where people take their change in tokens and use them the next time they visit. But heck, if the current system is working, no need to fix it.😊

That’s awesome!! Good for y’all!!
Not by chance I’m seeing this. This is exactly what I want to do in my community. I also want one for the homeless that’s filled daily eventually
You can do it!!!
Quite a classy user-friendly setup!
Lovely little store. Tho I'd recommend adding a ramp for wheelchair users.
Thanks!!
That’s nice! Going to start our’s soon!
Good luck!!
This is awesome, Be careful, rough times coming
Thanks for sharing, what a great idea and source for the community.
Absolutely! Thanks for your encouraging comment!
That's a great idea best of luck on your market stand.
Thanks so much!!!
Love it. Can’t wait to come see it. I got some good ideas for our own stand.

Yea it’s definitely something that only works in honest communities. I appreciate the encouragement! Stop by anytime!

Good to know!!!
Cool story bro. That's basically how WaWa started out close to 50 years ago.
Awesome stuff keep it up! I am currently working towards a farm store like this! It sounds like a successful venture so far!
Thank you!!!

Where did you get your money box?
Just off Amazon

12x16 I believe. I use slick text for the text club! It’s a bit pricey but it works
@@tannerfarmstead Thanks for the reply, I was just looking at a 12x16 thinking it might be the right size :)
What program do you use for your text club?
It’s called Slick Text
How do you deal with folks that might need change?

My neighborhood had one for a few days until the 13% stole everything than burned it down
That’s unfortunate
What happens if the power goes out for like 3 days so you have to throw everything out in the farm store?
Generator
You’re not in Indiana are you?
In Arkansas
@@tannerfarmstead what part? I live in NW Arkansas. I haven't heard of your store.
@@mountainmama7155 we are in Greenbrier, AR
Did you have to get a business license? You know uncle Sam needs his cut. Or is there a rule that we can sell on our own land the products we grow?
We don’t need a business license in our town but we are operating as an LLC just like any other business paying state and federal taxes
