    I miss cycling along the Capital Trail between Jamestown and Charles City; it's a nice, scenic path. Lived in Williamsburg for 3 years and worked at Cheatham Annex.

    Super cool hotel/winery. Your videos make me want to quit my job and bike tour the country.

      Alternatively you could just take tours with us ;) Seriously though, biking is a great way to travel and see the world.

      I biked the GAP trail with my family earlier this year, booked with your company. I’m totally hooked. I just wish I had the time to do it regularly. I will live vicariously through your videos until the next trip. Cheers!

    Thanks for this , we moved from Richmond in 2014 so didn't get the opportunity to complete this trail. Planning on a spring journey. 2 suggestions on other trails in the area: Highbridge and Virginia Creeper trails.

      Great suggestions, thank you Jim!

      Yes Jim, my wife & I moved away from Richmond too prior to its completion. 🥺 (Too bad Richmond side took so long to complete)
      BTW, add ‘New River Trail’ to the list of VA bike trails. A 57 mile tour. Enjoy!

    Looks fast...I'd have to do it twice, because my next favorite thing is history.

    Thanks for the video. The trail looks beautiful. Me and my girlfriend want to start bike touring to place like this. What type mountain bikes would you recommend for us? I know that a very broad question

    • @NobleInventionBikeTouring
      @NobleInventionBikeTouring  2 года назад +1

      These types of trails are best for a trail/hybrid/gravel bike. I would recommend going to your local bike store and talking with them about the types of places you want to ride. They'll be able to steer you toward some good options. Thanks for watching!

      @@NobleInventionBikeTouring thanks! One more thing, with hybrid bikes, I know most come without front suspension. Is it still a pretty some ride without that suspension?

    • @NobleInventionBikeTouring
      @NobleInventionBikeTouring  2 года назад

      @@todaynotnow You would not need suspension on these trails, that said, a number of hybrids now do have front suspension.

      Do you still offer the capital trail ride?

    As a novice Richmond bicyclist, I loved your videos. Is there a way to have the trip be a loop? Is there a way to have someone come get us and bring us back to Richmond?

    • @NobleInventionBikeTouring
      @NobleInventionBikeTouring  3 года назад +1

      So glad you enjoyed the video! It's an out and back via the trail, no loop option unfortunately. We have not been able to find consistent transportation on the trail, so that is something we're still working on.

    Where do the bikes get stored?

    • @NobleInventionBikeTouring
      @NobleInventionBikeTouring  5 лет назад

      Typically in a shed or covered porch. Different properties have different storage areas, but they're used to working with cyclists:)
