Wow today was my first time hearing him preach on RUclips. He was definitely a true man of God. He was beyond his years. I’m saddened to hear that he is no longer here on earth. I look forward to seeing him in Heaven.

I saw this man in 1990, at the Full Gospel Center, Cleckheaton, Bradford, England. His assistant carried a cloak and asked where was the changing room for the Prophet. I spoke with Vernon briefly after the meeting finished. In those days he was not a Bishop of any Denomination. Most of the folks that attended those 3 day evening meetings came from other churches and were black Pentecostals. His hand bills advertising the meetings ran like this: He has the tears of Jeremiah, the eloquence of Isaiah, the wisdom of Solomon, and the fire of Elijah. These were the hand bills produced by the joint churches. His agent brought black T shirts with Vernon's printed photo on the front and the words The Prophet printed on them. From these videos It is obvious that Vernon went deeply into Religion. He is wearing a medallion of the Virgin Mary in this Video. Scripture forbids images of any saint or God himself.
All of Christianity is religion. To believe otherwise is to believe a lie. Scripture says absolutely nothing about wearing an image of a saint, since no such thing existed. Scripture says nothing about wearing an image of God since no one knows what God looks like. Your comment makes it clear you are steeped deeply in religion yourself, since your comments are not based on anything that God has said. And wearing a cross around your neck or having one hanging in your church is no different than having the picture of a saint.
I was delivered out of Religion and into Christ Jesus, new life by the Spirit of God 47 years ago. As regards Idols see Ex ch 4. And what is selling T shirts with our own photo? Especialy Veron Ashe T shirt with words saying Prophet Vernon Ashe. This man began, seemingly as a simple uncluttered pentecostal, but became increasing mystical and extra biblical over the years. This is a warning to us all.

You're the only person I've ever heard say that, so your word simply isn't enough to determine whether it's true. And you're wrong-- believing you should say simple rather than evolving is nonsensical, but typical of most "simple" Christians. The Apostle Paul rebuked those "simple" Christians, who continued to drink milk long after they should have been eating meat. And if you think God is confined to the Bible, then you're far too simple (and simple-minded) to even bother engaging.

This is similar to the true story of Marjo the child preacher turned con man. People can have seared conscienses. Believe a lie. The Jesuits are the most powerfull religious order of all. Vernon Ashe knew what he was doing, his mission was to kead people away from true faith in Jesus Christ and into deep religious pagan ceremonies that place man at the centre of attentiin instead of the true worship of Almight God in Spirit and Truth. Jesus Christ never wore the ecclesiastical garments of the scribes and pharisees or of the Jewish preisthood. Nor did His disciples. All this came in the 3rd 4th C from religious systems. Even Babylonian. Non of the Apostle had ecclesiastical garments. Jesus Christ lived like an ordinary man even though he was the Son of God. Worked for 30 years as a carpenter. I take my example from Him. Not men who live like gods and dress in gorgeous robes.
