You could treat the woodworm with cotton swabs dipped in rubbing alcohol . You are a very hard worker and have great creative ideas. I made my wedding dress. I designed and sewed my Large Living Room curtains with Blue Willow pattern Fabric .It took many hours with lining the back with sun protective fabric. It was hours of hard work but all worth having a lovely Home.

Replacing the stuffing is a good idea and just a suggestion, especially if something is old and you don't know what's in there. Treat the bugs first, ugh. You tube has many videos on doing these types of projects.

You also may want to consider a nice trim over the nails!
