You realize that China has some of the strictest eco laws right?
@@wisteria6544 you realize due to corruption from the top to the local level; it's nearly impossible to inforce these regulations, which is why even new construction is falling apart. I have seen the videos where individuals are upset because their new home crumbles if they push hard enough with a finger against a stone/cement wall, why individuals do the same with bridges that have just been built, not to mention lead and even cadmium used in jewelry and kid's toys made with metal parts.

I've fallen for many gimmicks over time but after becoming overwhelmed with crap after moving into a smaller home, I've learned less is more. (Also, aren't we supposed to be moving away from unnecessary plastic items?)
Sooooo true! After 10 years living in my home I became cluttered with unnecessary gadgets. Now I am starting to sort them and throwing away the useless ones. Half of the gadgets in the clip are pure garbage and adding work (straining bags? Who will clean that and how long will that last?) plus you would need to have the biggest kitchen in the world to accommodate everything in your shelves.

I love how dollar store and unnecessary most of these items are. In cookware especially you want to avoid plastics where there's contact with food, cleaning up plastic is the worst thing
Right? I just put all fruits in the metal or wood basket and that's all ( they disappear before they spoil anyway). Also not everything needs to be put in the fridge... 😕

I live in China, and each & every one of these products are available on Tabao, which is the biggest chinese shopping site 😃 not sure about other countries but where I'm originally from we can never find these, so I usually ship stuff for my family and friends back home and they're always amazed at the stuff China makes 😍😍

@@rosestar8293 If your recycling it all in one container for the city to pick up from your home then 3% sounds about right.
I did a little research & discovered that there were things I was throwing in my city recycle that they didn't accept. When they received these items they sent them to the dump. Like the plastic bubble wrap packing/shipping bags Amazon uses to ship small items & books in , my city recycling doesn't recycle these. So I save up a small stack of them & take them to a local collection place who sends them to the proper recycling center.

I don't know if Walmart takes all plastic or just bags but for years now I have added all plastic in with those bags. That is a question I have that's why I'm not throwing them away or do they recycle all plastic?

The amount of things made from plastic, highly concerning. Industries that produce plastic products need to work on the issue of recycling. They need to be developing plastics that can totally be recycled.
It's all about the Benjamins. They don't care if what they make is killing living things with pollution and waste. Someday they will when the consequences are so great that it can't be ignored anymore. Then it may be way too late.
My exact thought. “Imagine the carbon footprint this person has for all those junk” imagine from research and dev of each product, the computer, production and r&d of said computer, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, of each product x all that junk. The world probably lost an hour of its ability to support all of human life. Just so you can have that much junk. So much VOC exposure. So much micro plastics. Pls people, don’t do this. You want to organize get bamboo and weave it for baskets etc

Everywhere I went, recycling was mandatory, unlike here in USA where my entire apartment with thousands of people can not recycle.

The only thing I wouldn’t do is cut my grapes/tomatoes off the vine. They stay fresh longer on the vine. Plus they visually just look better on the vine.
Watching someone cut grapes off the vine with their scissors and then there’s me who plucks them with my hands
I also do the same. But I realize what she did was so smart to save space, now I'm going to do this, because my apartment fridge is small, and her way truly could maximize my space, and still have fresh longer lasting grapes.

Actually you’re supposed to cut grapes off the vine to wash them as dirt gets trapped in between when we wash the entire bunch. We don’t pluck because then while soaking the dirt will contaminate the grapes through the injured area.
Tip: don't cut one by one. They last longer (even in a counter) if you cut them into little bunches and still saves space. Just be sure to let them dry before closing the lit. Plus, they are so cute to pick up.
