The 90’s Cartoony Claws on this X-Force wolvie would be a great thing to put on the Classic tiger striped wolverine figure, I got some QC issues on mine but it’s not extremely noticeable, I give this figure 7/10 Mostly due to the great yet reused parts and the Huge lack Of Accessories.
I really liked this wolvie figure. I got this one before the one that comes in the pack with Hulk and, after playing with the X-Force version for a while, the one from the pack felt like trash lmao. The one from the pack feels super gummy, I can't really understand how the same figure can feel so different from one version to another. I want these claws to be the standard for every other Wolverine figure now. I would have prefered a more rounded shape for the ears, I think the rounded ones give him a meaner look.

Missed opportunity with the upcoming Wolvie, Cyke, Jean 3-pack. The claws seem to be the old ones. Such a shame. Also, I think the reason that the new shoulders weren't used is because of the holes in them from where the shoulder pads peg in.
This great to me, second favorite suit, got this when I was a kid, perfect timing cause the x men are getting more popular again, new movie, everything!
Hey Anthony, when referring the to shoulders and biceps not being the new versions, which figure were you comparing it to? What wolverine was up to better standards at this time? I’d like to know so I can mod my figure. Thanks for your time and great review.
I haven't bought this one but I'm tented, even though I have more then enough Wolverine figures already, maybe if I find another villain to pose him with I'll get it. I do like the claws but the extra wide shape bothers me a bit, when (the adverb "when" isn't the more appropriate maybe the best is "if", we're talking about Hasbro) they get to shape them a bit better they will be perfect. I think the best option for the hands is having the removable claws plus an extra set without them. Very nice overall action figure for the price point. Thank you Anthony
I guess they don't wanna sculpt new shoulder to match the hair texturing of the other arms so they won't have peg holes. But it wouldn't bother me if the shoulders had no hair sculpt, as long as the peg match up. But i can easily see people complaining. Never tried to swap those biceps. If the eyes were closer together I'd be happy. The Andy Serkis likeness works for me. I never thought Wolvie should have particularly leading man looks. Saw someone say their ideal would have been feed a young Bob Hoskins a bunch of roids. Honestly I've never interpreted the claws as 'removable' as much as they can be removed. Like the arms are removable if you heat and pop or pull hard enough. It's just a quirk of production and too tedious to glue in.
No. The claws were made this way to be removed for poses involving them penetrating something. Not the same as things which can be removed but aren't meant for it.

I think for what we pay for a Wolverine Figure...we should definitely get an extra set of hands with every figure...in my opinion every marvel legends should come with at least 1 accessory, not counting BAF.
Removable claws are not preferable to me. I'd like alt hands with and without claws. The chrome pen intrigues me but I haven't bought one because I haven't seen anyone do it well enough to sway me. Also a second run of wolverine heads would be great but we will cross that bridge when we get there.

The giant claws not making sense is fine with me. Wolverine's claws never make sense. He's a cartoon character. Realistically if his claws were retracted into his forearms, he'd never be able to move his wrists, but he can.
My point was that at least his normal claws could conceivably fit. These are huge. Like i said, i like them. They are just a bit too big of a correction over the last ones.
The fins on the mask are supposed to be more spread out. Not only is the hasbro version more folded up, but they look uneven as well. You can look up several of other reviewers who have made this complaint about the hasbro wolverine mask fins where they even attempt to heat up the head so that they can try to alter the fins. Not to mention that the eyes on the hasbro head are spaced too far a part. A very common problem with many of the hasbro figures.
Why don't you give us a tutorial on how to properly use those chrome pens since you mentioned it
