I think the PQ ending was a what-if thing personally If Cassie's Dad followed through with what Glitchtrap wants, then he becomes free once more, leading to the Mask Bot ending, but if Cassie's Dad played PQ4, it would lead to the end of Glitchtrap. Canonically, I think Glitchtrap is still kickin' around (I believe he's Helpi), since we see the Mask Bot ending of HW2 happen in RUIN, so that kind of has to be the true ending. That's why I think Jason just openly dropped the fact that Glitchtrap survives in that ending so openly, since it's not the canon ending anyways (Btw posted this comment before I watched the video, so forgive me if I just said the same thing you said or smth lol)

I'm more of a "both endings are canon" belief here. Like you said, we know the mask bot ending is canon because of Ruin, but then why include the other ending at all (other than it was really cool to experience). But I also see why others would disagree.

True. I don't really think it does since we have to play the games once to get the hint on how to get the poppet's, but it is possible to get the other ending first. Plus, that would then mean that if Jason told the truth and that was the end of glitchtrap, then Cassie is getting controlled by just the Mimic or something else entirely.

Seeing Glitchtrap being crushed by Vanny is crazy, but I do agree that if it’s suppose to represent Vanessa getting him out of her head, why would she be represented by Vanny instead of Vanessa? My guess is that Vanny became her own character, and got rid of Glitchtrap, because she doesn’t need him, kind of like the Story, B7-2. I think when Afton got Springlocked, his soul was bound to the metal, creating his own remnant, but after being burned twice, his soul is pretty much gone, all that remained, was the agony he felt from losing his kids, to being Springlocked, and being burned twice. As for the whole Faz Goo thing, that could just be an exaggerated way of talking about The Mimic program. After all, Glitchtrap is an AI embodiment of Aftons evil, plus, not every story in the books are considered canon, they can be very convoluted. Overall, your theory is pretty good, but I don’t think Afton is back. His catchphrase is probably figurative instead of being literal.
I actually really love this theory. Its a unique perspective. Its creative. Its refreshing. Too many people hate on Afton, who can be a great villian if presented greatly.
The Mimic create variants of itself with difference. Afton’s soul possibly reacted with mimic Ai to make a digital vessel just let it make the physical vessel for himself.

I always thought that Glitchtrap worked this way, specifically that the books clarify that Agony and other emotional energies can ride along with any kind of intelligence, organic or synthetic, in order to act on its own. By this interpretation, Glitchtrap is William's agony/remnant/whatever and the mimic1 AI (or game equivalent) merged together, and Vanny would be some version of Vanny's agony combined with the same AI. Copies that adapt to the emotional energy that's provided.

That makes a lot of sense! I keep going back and forth between if glitchtrap is just the Mimic AI or Mimic merged with afton somehow. I keep settling on it being all or mostly the Mimic due to it merging other things and more knowledge into itself like Vanessa or helpi, but I forgot agony kinda does the same thing.

While this is a good theory, i dont see it realistically being true, another thing Jtop pointed outnin the interview was that environmental storytelling was something they focused on in recent games, in ruin we are shown that burntrap was trapped in the same room the mimic is found via the trail of handprints, eventaully being trapped in the same room, and since we only see 1 endo in that room its clear (imo) that theyre saying burntrap is the Mimic endo, along with that The purple smoke from burntraps room turns orange after glitchtrap dies, glitchtrap being the part of the mimic copying afton but not actually being afton as confirmed in fnaf Ar, theres also the line from mrs Hippo telling us that even without the vanni mask we arent in the real world because our hands are seethrough in both, this couldve been a gameplay feature even with mrs hippo specifically pointing it out, but with jtop now telling us to pay attention to details like that its becoming increasingly unlikely, what im mainly trying to say is that the hw2 ending isnt in the real world but still in the vr world Also anothsr detail id like to point out is that The mimic Ai remains in hw2 through the main game and after the helltrap ending, but after the pq4 ending all traces of the mimic and glitchtrap are gone for good
I agree that vanessa killing the glitchtrap part of herself could imply that she mantains the glitchy powers..and that could maybe mean that glitchy helpi is Vanny virus instead of glitchtrap virus competing with the mimic to control you... That could make sense if we consider the vanny paintings all over the game, and the glitchtrap of princess quest killed on the princess quest machine with the sword stabbed in. Also that would mean that the two endings of Help wanted 2 are canon at the same time, both happening in different times, but both happening after all (vanny destroying the glitchtrap virus and actual afton using your flesh as his own and transfering you to the maskbot)
And if you want to laugh a bit, I also believe that both the Princess quest and the burn trap ending are canon in security breach and that both the elevator and the scooper endings are canon on Ruin. We are watching things in the eyes of people (Gregory and Cassie) that were infected by the virtual world chip of the Vanny mask (Gregory from his time as Dr Rabbit/GGY and Cassie during Ruin)
And I do also believe that all the books, FNAF world, even the troll games are canon EVERYTHING IS CANON IF YOU DRINK ENOUGH ah jsjsjs not bc of that. True, it's not confirmed, but the evidence seems to point towards it being some version of afton. The arm matches glitchtrap, the helpi on the projector is pushing us to that ending, helpi in ruin seemed to be infected with some sort of virus, the action figures being brought together is similar to bringing the tapes together in Help Wanted 1 which reassembles glitchtrap, and the hand emerging from the charging station is similar to burntrap emerging from the charging station.
So the real Afton's still suffering in the hands of cassidy in fnaf 7, so the cloned digital afton got a body and it's about to engage on its tomfoolery shenanigans again

Most of the FF stories aren't canon, fazgoo is literally nothing, and Burntrap was nothing but a inanimate prop, SB literally didn't happen. RUIN did. 100% disagree. Security Breach is still canon, Scott even made sure to say that in the interview. All he said was it wasn't his original intention, and he used things like ruin to course correct the story to what he wants. Also into the pit now points towards the frights books being canon. I always thought that Glitchtrap worked this way, specifically that the books clarify that Agony and other emotional energies can ride along with any kind of intelligence, organic or synthetic, in order to act on its own. By this interpretation, Glitchtrap is William's agony/remnant/whatever and the mimic1 AI (or game equivalent) merged together, and Vanny would be some version of Vanny's agony combined with the same AI. Copies that adapt to the emotional energy that's provided.
its worse vanny is source of all, there a chance elizabeth wasn't a real kid but a AI made to mimic and became a new charlie, but she fails, now she is beyond human undertand

That makes a lot of sense! I keep going back and forth between if glitchtrap is just the Mimic AI or Mimic merged with afton somehow. I keep settling on it being all or mostly the Mimic due to it merging other things and more knowledge into itself like Vanessa or helpi, but I forgot agony kinda does the same thing.
@@TerminalError tbh I think his ghost is still around somehow. I think the wider community reacted poorly to Burntrap's inclusion in SB and may have pushed Steel Wool and Scott away from keeping William around, but Glitchtrap was already in motion. Just speculation though.

While this is a good theory, i dont see it realistically being true, another thing Jtop pointed outnin the interview was that environmental storytelling was something they focused on in recent games, in ruin we are shown that burntrap was trapped in the same room the mimic is found via the trail of handprints, eventaully being trapped in the same room, and since we only see 1 endo in that room its clear (imo) that theyre saying burntrap is the Mimic endo, along with that The purple smoke from burntraps room turns orange after glitchtrap dies, glitchtrap being the part of the mimic copying afton but not actually being afton as confirmed in fnaf Ar, theres also the line from mrs Hippo telling us that even without the vanni mask we arent in the real world because our hands are seethrough in both, this couldve been a gameplay feature even with mrs hippo specifically pointing it out, but with jtop now telling us to pay attention to details like that its becoming increasingly unlikely, what im mainly trying to say is that the hw2 ending isnt in the real world but still in the vr world
Also anothsr detail id like to point out is that The mimic Ai remains in hw2 through the main game and after the helltrap ending, but after the pq4 ending all traces of the mimic and glitchtrap are gone for good
I agree that vanessa killing the glitchtrap part of herself could imply that she mantains the glitchy powers..and that could maybe mean that glitchy helpi is Vanny virus instead of glitchtrap virus competing with the mimic to control you... That could make sense if we consider the vanny paintings all over the game, and the glitchtrap of princess quest killed on the princess quest machine with the sword stabbed in. Also that would mean that the two endings of Help wanted 2 are canon at the same time, both happening in different times, but both happening after all (vanny destroying the glitchtrap virus and actual afton using your flesh as his own and transfering you to the maskbot)
And if you want to laugh a bit, I also believe that both the Princess quest and the burn trap ending are canon in security breach and that both the elevator and the scooper endings are canon on Ruin. We are watching things in the eyes of people (Gregory and Cassie) that were infected by the virtual world chip of the Vanny mask (Gregory from his time as Dr Rabbit/GGY and Cassie during Ruin)
And I do also believe that all the books, FNAF world, even the troll games are canon EVERYTHING IS CANON IF YOU DRINK ENOUGH ah jsjsjs not bc of that. But I do believe the book stories can easily be in continuity with the games if we consider that fazbear entertainment could had done the books (at least most of them) the world of fnaf to make fun of the rumors, like with help wanted. True, it's not confirmed, but the evidence seems to point towards it being some version of afton. The arm matches glitchtrap, the helpi on the projector is pushing us to that ending, helpi in ruin seemed to be infected with some sort of virus, the action figures being brought together is similar to bringing the tapes together in Help Wanted 1 which reassembles glitchtrap, and the hand emerging from the charging station is similar to burntrap emerging from the charging station.

Congrats... now that you have seen the dawko interview2, you now know that almost every part of this video is meaningless. Most of the FF stories aren't canon, fazgoo is literally nothing, and Burntrap was nothing but a inanimate prop, SB literally didn't happen. RUIN did. Also, the hand coming out of the ruin pod is not burntrap.
100% disagree. Security Breach is still canon, Scott even made sure to say that in the interview. All he said was it wasn't his original intention, and he used things like ruin to course correct the story to what he wants.
Also into the pit now points towards the frights books being canon. Not just the into the pit story but all of them with the inclusion of the stitchrathe.
