I get why multiple people are suggesting the mid weight VP arms, but I've found that when using any kind of full auto weapon, having the highest combination of recoil control and firearm spec will make considerable differences in your damage and impact output. And hey, melee punish doesn't happen if you don't stagger them. They say that no arm can fully control the Gatling, so picking high firearm spec is key. As an aside, I've found that using the HAL arms has the best proficiency with ETSUJIN HARRIS, even though most will settle with FIRMEZA. The 111 recoil straddles the line and isn't enough to fully eliminate shot blooming in all scenarios...you can hold down the ETSUJIN and rapid fire the HARRIS with FIRMEZA, and the machine gun will spray eventually, and you can get the HARRIS to shoot wild once or twice as well. HAL is actually the lowest recoil arm that fully control those two in ALL scenarios
That's EXACTLY why I always return to the hal arms. I always see a noticeable difference in my dps/pressure output when I swap off them. Same thought process too, if I can't stagger as consistently then does the higher melee damage matter? The build can compete against meta specifically because of it's high pressure, lowering it's consistency is iffy. That melee DOES feel good on VP when you do land it though 😄
I've been watching your build and I was wondering when you face down shields if using the light pulse gun might break them quicker? I suppose that depends on the generator but from what I remembered about that weapon is having a higher energy firearm spec doesn't add too much damage to it. Try it out in custom matches before I make you lose rank over it lol
@azurespectrum1985 It probably does tear through the shields faster, but then I'd lose out on huge stagger pressure without the pistol. You have me very curious though lol. Definitely trying it.

Id say theyre pretty solid parts combo, raven heads pretty good tbh, mAlpha core may have lower attitude stability but has great stats otherwise, and hal 826 legs are quite en efficient and have great stability and other stats. Which gives ur build pretty goos en regen
I got maximum PTSD just by watching the points going up and down, got land mined yesterday with a -35 and -39 iirc. The whole s rank player pool based on your time zone is real, which is a very bad situation in my opinion and really shows how small the community is (╥﹏╥) given that we try to snipe each other for points. In the unlikely scenario that someone cannot play during the day, no matter how good he is top 100 is out of the question for him because there are not enough people for him IN HIS LEVEL to compete. The system needs a maximum elo gain per win and maximum elo loss, aside from the fact that you also need elo range matchmaking but you cannot do that cause the community is so small if you fragment it further its BVOver. It is moronic to sweat with a player that just happens he is not in top100 but still a good player, you win, and get like max 5 points. If we take into account the 8/10 win ratio that you need in order to hit S rank, and if you lets say take 10 points PER win, so that's 80 points lets say, then if you do the 2 loses with someone lower than you and get hit with -30ish like i did, that's all the progress gone. Apply the fact that build is part of your skill and...yeah you get the idea. Im in the same boat as you, i dont mind losing. Losing makes you better right? Its the injustice that i cannot stand. Aside from all these we have the unbalanced/outlier parts like LRB whatnot and bugs like basho core and snail legs alongside lag and net code. Now when there was no ranked that was fine cause there was no stakes if you lose. But when you start ranking people without these things sortied out? yeah.... Good vid, i really really felt every part of your matches and good luck with the climb

Good gameplay my man. I've also been close to the top 100 on PC a few times but get unlucky a bunch with players lower on the ladder offsetting my wins. I've managed to beat a guy 3 or 4 times out of the last 6 times we fought that was in the top 5 and traded with #4 once as well. So I have the stuff but with the way the ranked system works now, all your progress made in an hour or two can be zeroed out by a few bad matchups with builds that counter you hard or just by losing to lower rating players. Won't run into you on the field since I'm PC but I'm going to observe the rest of your matches to see if I can glean any new strategies to tighten up my win/loss. Also, I totally understand your frustrations with the way S rank works compared to all other ranks. Been there myself many times, lol. Keep on fighting! [Also a nice build you got there. I use a dual handgun (coq or duck), melee build myself.]
It got exhausting a few times for sure lol! Hopefully you'll be able to grab something from this video that you can incorporate into your gameplay. Handguns ftw!
I love your build's color scheme as always built regarding what you said at the beginning of the video regarding getting top 100 at beginning of a season I gotta disagree I'd say that it's at its toughest during that period as you'll be matching against other top 100 players and other super good players way more often than a average S rank player. All of this to say don't sell yourself short, you did something incredible, shine on dood. 😊

So This is where this weapon combo came from🤔 very clean pressure output👌🏾 I've been trying it out on a lighter frame with Alcano parts to push the boost speed over 470, but I can definitely feel the loss in defense and stability.

The pulse blade whiffed in the first clip because it generally needs to be delayed further between hits on stagger. Netcode does silly things to that weapon which makes mashing the button generally less consistent
I was just surprised because I delayed it the same way I always do. Maybe since the first hit put him INTO stagger, instead of it just being used to punish while already in stagger caused the issue.

To everyone scared of tank legs in ac6, everything else has major advantage on them in terms of mobility. They were way scarier in ac5 and Verdict Day, since they were the only leg type that could fire heavy weapons while moving, tanks and dual autocannons are nightmares you don't have to deal with in 6 xD

I wouldn't mind running some matches against you when I get the chance. Vertical missiles are so nasty in the older games. It's crazy how AC6 verts are damn near useless in pvp.

The point system is soo annoying, ive slapped meta top 100 palleenty! But it takes one silly loss to lose 20 points. Its exactly as you've said. I love it when i hit top 100 coz of my bot surprises people but alas some lowby meta knocks me down Nice work
@Thryfe I started going stir crazy as to why the fuck I had to fight ice worm 5 fucking times to get the video to record properly. Like my are fight was 3 recording sessions. Found out it was the old elgayo software ibwas using that was fucking me
I do. Yeah man sometimes my weapons just refuse to switch or my expansion won't activate. Doesn't happen that often, but enough to were I prepare myself often to anticipate it happening lmao.

I've messed around with it a bit and even though the lower recoil control and firearm spec isn't much, I definitely feel the difference in consistency with my shots on the gatling pistol combo with the VP. I'm still bouncing back and forth between the hal and vp though, because that melee spec is niiiiice!

Winning games gives you points based on how high your opponents position in the ladder is. It only works like that in S rank though. Every other rank gives you the same amount of points per victory no matter what rank your opponent is. Same for losing.
Yea you can. It's all about skill, I have a friend in PC top 100 that plays with gatlings sometimes. PC players aren't too different from the PS players. In fact sometimes the PlayStation version has more traffic tbh, depends on day.

@danilogarcia8327 Ratting is running away and pelting you with missiles usually. There is no co-op in this game unfortunately 😕. There is 3v3 team pvp though!

The point system is soo annoying, ive slapped meta top 100 palleenty! But it takes one silly loss to lose 20 points. Its exactly as you've said. I love it when i hit top 100 coz of my bot surprises people but alas some lowby meta knocks me down

I do. Yeah man sometimes my weapons just refuse to switch or my expansion won't activate. Doesn't happen that often, but enough to were I prepare myself often to anticipate it happening lmao.

I've messed around with it a bit and even though the lower recoil control and firearm spec isn't much, I definitely feel the difference in consistency with my shots on the gatling pistol combo with the VP.
I'm still bouncing back and forth between the hal and vp though, because that melee spec is niiiiice!

I just wish it was a bit more interactive. Those legs are pretty cool when they QB around at high speed as opposed to just back pedaling.

Make sure your matchmaking settings in the in-game options is set to global.
Wait how the rank ladder work?
Winning games gives you points based on how high your opponents position in the ladder is. It only works like that in S rank though.
Every other rank gives you the same amount of points per victory no matter what rank your opponent is. Same for losing.

Yea you can. It's all about skill, I have a friend in PC top 100 that plays with gatlings sometimes. PC players aren't too different from the PS players. In fact sometimes the PlayStation version has more traffic tbh, depends on day.
