This is like listening to your friend's little brother explaining the big story he's made with his toys. You don't understand half of it, but his enthusiasm is through the roof no matter what.
I love how rob really explains everything and gets into it. You can tell how much he loves comics just by hearing the excitment in his voice. His videos are also really helpful because one big thing Marvel cant do that DC can is not making readers do a deep dive into about 10 different series just to fully understand and enjoy the experience as a readerif you're not familiar with rhe characters. Rob fills that gap for Marvel i think. One of the main reasons i love his channel
Thats what I love about Marvel over DC personally. The fact that there's such an extensive history that's just been ongoing for decades and there's just such an expansive universe that's been expanded and expanded, cleaned up a little here and there and then further expanded. I personally like the fact that I have to read previous stories to understand certain things, cuz it gives me a reason to read the older stories that came out before I was born and I get to experience all these iconic moments while getting caught up on the lore. This is precisely the reason I prefer Marvel, I love it.
Bruh I agree 💯. The info rob gives you is 2nd to none, and stands out from channels like comicstorian where he just reads the comic to you while doing characters voices and breaks the stories down to where you miss things because of that.

Rob! There are actually spiders who trap air bubbles with webbing so they can dive underwater. It works for like half an hour at a time. So that’s actually real.
@37:10 thats spiderman unlimited from 1999. suits pretty similar. web cape. web shooters looks pretty close too. the Ram looking guard at his feet is one of the cops in the show spiderman fights alot
Spoilers for Across The Spiderverse but I really hope we get to see Mayday actually do something in BtSV, it could be really cool for an alternate version of Mayday, one who's already Spider-man to show up and meet Dad Parker, as they've made it pretty clear that Dad Parkers whole motivation currently is to raise his daughter right. Would suck to end the spider-verse movies without us ever seeing that come together
People always misremember Otto's contributions to Parker Industries. He launched that company, but Peter was the one who successfully made it a global billion dollar business.

They adapted that Spider-Gwen comic into Spider-Man 2017 and added in Ms Marvel & Squirrel Girl to her story. And it was fantastic. It would be different unless they were self aware. IE "The Measure of a Man" Episode 9 of Season 2 So, Spider-Man version of KITT? There was also the alternate story that was part of Shrieking called "Peter Parker no more".
I imagined what it would be like to talk to this guy Like you would not get a single Word out by the time he spells out 68 paragraphs and you forget what you were even doing there
Could you do a video on the origins and powers of 'mockingbird' from marvel. Also could you do a beyond omega video of 'Dazzler?' Both pegasus and Galactus have stated dazzler has no limit to her power and therefore could be omega. She was also a herald of Galactus for a short time.
Rob love the video can you do the spider geddon. Also when the new spider verse trailer came out my mind was blow away it was just so freaking awesome👍😄
Assassin Spiderman didn't deviate from canon because of the death if Gwen Stacy. It actually had nothing to do with her. It was during the Spiderman vs Wolverine storyline where Ned Leeds was killed. When Peter accidentally kills Wolverines girlfriend by punching her at full strength, he originally went back home to MJ. In the universe where Spiderman becomes an assassin, Wolverine convinced him to stay in Europe a little longer and as a result, he never goes back home but instead starts training with Logan as he becomes sharper and more connected to his spider sense making him a master assassin
When I first heard of Morlun and the idea of him killing spider "totems" I was like okay that's kinda weird but alright but now there's a whole family of these dudes jumping around the multiverse "eating" spider people
As a science teacher and someone who believes there are reasons for reasons… I keep noticing that the harder I try in life and the better I become as a person, I feel these awkward steps (literal steps) where I feel “drunk” for a split second. I feel like there is a part of me that doesn’t want to succeed or a part of me pushing back. I know this is meant for a therapist, but they wouldn’t understand. I feel there is a universe where I have failed and that it creeps into my reality for random seconds.
18:37 i feel like spiderman being able to be breathe and function with less oxygen than a human is plausibe. You see it all the time superpower manifestations e.g. viltrimites from the invincible universe, now that's not to say i think spiderman noir can just hold his breath for two weeks like omniman, but i think the webbing allowed him to breathe for a substantially longer amount of time then it would for humans.. idk tho lmk what you think
This is like listening to your friend's little brother explaining the big story he's made with his toys. You don't understand half of it, but his enthusiasm is through the roof no matter what.
