Please wear a mask when cutting MDF material. This was my first video I filmed and was focusing on filming everything and I for got to put my mask when I was cutting MDF, Sorry. In this video I show the process I did of creating my candy cart. I know this video is longer but There was so much detail in making this video and did my best to keep most of it in there. I had been wanting to make another candy cart since our first candy cart gets so much business. For this candy cart I wanted something more elegant and I think this candy cart came out great. If you have any questions or comments please let me know, thank you so much for watching.

Hi do you have the SVG plans for this specific cart? I purchased your other file and it's great.
Hi, thanks for the support! I am redesigning this cart and will make the plans for it. Hopefully it will be done in a month or two depending how it comes together. Thanks!
I want one
Beautiful work! I love this cart. Do you sell the plans and material list? I’m small like your wife, can she set it up alone?
Hi, sorry for this one I do not because I am working on one similar that will be easier and lighter to setup. Hopefully will be done in two months or earlier. Thank you for the support!
This build is not available on your Etsy! Is there anyway I can purchase the template?
Hi, I am working on a version of this candy cart and hope to have it ready in May.
Hi ! You are amazing talented! I bought the traditional cart plans from you and the elegant wheels but I think I like more this one, do you have the plans? Or the list of the materials? Thank you 😊
Hi, thank you for your support! Yes I do get a lot of requests for plans for this one. I am working on them but wont be ready for a couple of months. I have some projects I am finishing up right now. I am also redesigning this build to make it easier, lighter and transport friendly. This is one of my bigger projects but should be out at the end or after the summer.
Where did you buy the stencil for the valence design from ?
Looks great. I never thought about using pvc for the pipes holding the roof. Great way to do it. I like that roof design too!
Thank you, working on a new simpler design now. The roof had me messed up for a week trying to get everything right, lol
Hey this is cool! Can you take the top off? And the gold poles. I am wanting to make one myself but, I don't have room to store it so, I wanted one that can be disassembled and put away, also easy to move around.
Hi thanks for watching, Yes the top and poles come off. This is the second candy cart I made. The first one I designed to have the top and bottom separate for delivery setups. Unfortunately, It still made it some what difficult to store and transport. So when I built this one, I had this in mind and created it to have the table top separate, poles come out and top separate. This makes it lighter to move but still sturdy enough for events. Thanks for your comment.
This channel popped up yesterday and I am loving it!!! Your work is amazing!
Thank you I am so glad it popped up. RUclips has been recommending our channel more. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
What is width and height of the roof without the poles attached?
I can not remember off the top of my head but it was made slightly larger than the table base of 2ft x 4ft. I wanted a slight over hang, but very little. The height was about 12 inches
@@MakerDecor Thank You. I am in the process of making a dessert cart and I am using your video as a guide.
@@livinglifetothefullest7288 Hi, if you email me or message me to the instagram. I can send you some photos with measurements that others have requested. Good luck!
I appreciate your selflessness. Well done, yr work is beautiful
Hi, thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Can you give us a general idea of what the total cost was? (Materials only, not tools) thanks so much!
Hi loving this candy cart and would love to build one. Do you have a plan with materiels etc... ive seen the foldable one on your shop but cant find a plan for this cart. Thanks
Hi, I have been working on one similar to this just more beginner friendly. It still maybe a month or two away. Thanks for the support!
Hi, can you list the materials you used... you did a totally awesome job!!👊💯
Hi thank you so much for watching.. I added it to the description. If there is something missing please let me know and I can let you know what I used. Thanks.
Incredible Work!
Looks beautiful your so talented. I have a question what is the height height measurement on your candy cart ?
Hi, thanks for watching. I am not 100% of the height as it is in storage. I believe it is a little above 6ft tall.
Another great video, thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much..
U do custom order too, same how much
What glue do you used
Hi, I use titebond 3 wood glue.
Love your carts!! What material do you use to make them more lightweight?
Thank you, it depends on the cart. It is always a battle when to use lighter or stronger wood for certain sections. I am redesigning this cart to make it more light and transport friendly. Hopefully will have the build out in two months or so.
What size wheels did you use on this piece?
Hi, thanks for watching. I used 24 inch wheels from Amazon. The link is in the description section below the video, thanks.
@@MakerDecor Thank you so very much for your response. Have a wonderful day.
You are AMAZING! What a lovely cart - made with such love and talent. What a great team you both are! Wishing you every success.
Thank you so much for watching and your comment for us!
Good Job. I built one but yours is super heavy duty.
Cool, thanks for watching. Yeah this is my 3rd cart I have built and each one I try to make lighter and more efficient. I am hoping to work on a design that's lighter, easier to brake down but still sturdy to use for multiple events. Hopefully I can have it done by early next year. Thanks for commenting!
Looks amazing, a lot of work but totally worth it
Hi, thanks for watching. Yes it was a lot of work, mainly the roof part though. Thank you very much.
what a wonderful couple. Many blessings!!! thanks for your tutorials
Hi, thank you very much for watching and your comment!
Wow I loved the video .
hey do you know how much money did you invest in the materials for the candy cart ?
Hi thanks for your question. My first candy cart was maybe under $300, and $50 of that was for the wagon wheels. This candy cart was probably similar in price but a lot more labor intensive than my first candy cart. I have a video on my RUclips channel that has more detail as well about candy carts. Thank you for your question.
How much did everything cost to make this? It’s beautiful ❤️
Thank you so much. I built it a while back on and off and really couldn't tell you an accurate figure. Sorry, thanks for watching!
Is that plywood or MDF?
I used MDF because of the look of MDF after painting and because when I built this plywood was crazy expensive. It has come down some, since then.
Very cool, It just needs a bar or some handles so you can push it.
Yeah, I was planning on putting some short handles for decoration but ran out of time lol.
bravo! c'est super beau! que travail!! congratulations et to be continued!
Merci
Absolutely beautiful 😍
Thank you so much!
You didn't again, AMAZING. You're so talented and thoughtful for sharing. I have some ideas if you run out...
Thank you!
Great job! Was this a 2 day build?
Hi thanks for watching and commenting. This actually was a couple of days of 2 or 3 hours of work each time and then a short break waiting for the wagon wheels to show up. If I had all the supplies and full days work. It is about 3 days of full work and maybe half of the 4th day just to paint and touchup edges.
What is the name and brand of the gold paint you used to accent the cart?
Hi, it was rustoleum Metallic gold spray paint from Home Depot.
@@MakerDecor Thank You
❤🙏
Thank you for watching!!
Woow
It’s so nice do you sell it if so how much does it cost?
Hi thanks for watching. Sorry, right now I do not sell these. Thank you
Ok thank you for answer. I’ve been seen your videos you make pretty cool stuff man you are an inspiration for all of us 👍🏼
@@sergiofuentes7743 Awesome, thanks for your comment, I appreciate it👍
Oh my gosh! Super cute!!! Do you make those for your personal use, to rent or sell? Just curious. I wish I lived in your state. :)
Hi thanks so much, I made this to rent out for events. I hope to eventually create plans for candy carts that people can make on their own or have them made from the plans. Thanks for your question.
@@MakerDecor You're welcome...keep up the awesome work. :)
@@MakerDecor Do you sell them?
@@Nothingtoseehereyet Hi thanks for watching. Sorry, right now I do not sell them.
This is great!! Do you have the measurements/build plans for this? I see you posted the materials, but wondering if you have the plans.
Hi thanks so much for watching and commenting. I do not have the plans for this, as most of the stuff I just start building and make adjustments while I build depending on how it looks. I have been thinking of designing plans for the things I build so that people may have something to go off if they decide to build some of the things I have here. If I do decide to eventually make some plans of the stuff I make then I will post a video on here about it. Thank you so much.
@@MakerDecor what are the dimensions of the base if you don’t mind?
@@claudiacalvillo6276 Hi, I am going to my storage tomorrow and I will look at the measurements, thanks.
@@claudiacalvillo6276 Hi, sorry for the late reply. The base is about 2ft wide x 4ft long.
I like. I would do it but I think it’s worthless build. It would take up space and what? Use it MAYBE 2 times a year. For the first 2 years. I mean. But I’m talking my family only. Nice though.
Hi thanks for watching, definitely not for everyone. The candy carts I built were made mainly for an event rental business, but I am always building random things. Thanks!
what type of wood are you using MDS?
Hi, thanks for watching. I used MDF (Medium-density fiberboard) to make the box sections. It was the material that was brown. Thanks for your question.
@@MakerDecor thank you for your prompt reply
Love your work I've purchased quite a few plans from you. Can you do a 6ft easy foldable bar on wheels for simple and easy storing when not being used, please and thank you 🥰😁
Hi, thank you so much for the support. That is on my list for sure. Just have a couple of projects I need to finish first. Thank you!
Looks good. What did you use to paint the gold accents?
Metallic gold spray paint from Home Depot
@@MakerDecor got it!.. thank you
Good job
Thank you!
Very nice 👍
Thank you very much!
Where are you located
Awesome
Thanks so much for watching!
What kind of glue are you using???
Hi, thanks for watching. I am using wood glue from Titebond, works great.
What Are the measurements for the candy cart
Hi, thanks for watching. For this one I just built it without any plans. I do know the base is 2ft x 4ft. If I do create plans for the candy cart I will let you know.
Love it!! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you very much!
Very Beautiful, you are definitely a man of many talents. I loved watching you build this candy cart it came out beautifully. I wish you and your wife the very business in business.. You both are super talented..You both should consider possibly giving lessons as an additional income source people would pay to learn 😉.
Thank you so much for watching and for your positive words for me and my wife!
I must let you know that your work is custom and absolutely high end. Master designer you are ❤
can you please make a video on how you price stuff for rent lol
and what was that tool you used to keep the boxes squared in the beginning
