That's amazing. They sell a similar piece on some party sites like Oriental Trading but the structure is smaller and the price is outrageous. It's definitely cheaper to DIY. Thanks for the clear instructions.
Hi... you got one subscriber from the Philippines 🇵🇭!!! Keep making more informative videos such as this. Looking forward to more videos you'll post in the future!
I will be making this for my Halloween carnival. Will have to add fabric in the back so when they throw balls or rings s0 we dont have to chase them down. Love this and came out great. Thank you
Thank you. 2 years ago I made a canopy using pvc pipe and command broom handle holders that attached to the wall and pvc pipe. It was really good but yours is much easier. The dance was canceled due to Covid but now it’s back on and I’m going to use your idea instead.
Great vid. Good instructions. I am going to make one for my daughters wedding. I am going to add a piece of foamboard to the back with notches cut out to fit over the bottom pipes and velcro it on to provide a back wall.. matbe 12 or 18 inches.
I used a canvas drop cloth from the paint department from places like Lowe's or Home Depot. They are think and you can paint them. I did a small section of a drop cloth with Red and Yellow stripes for Halloween years ago. I really wanted to make a small Circus tent to sit in. But never got around to making it.
I think your videos are awesome they are pretty easy to follow you give a lot of of details I was watching this video that you made and soon as I saw sewing I tuned out lol. I wanted to know since I watched your popcorn tub making video I wonder if I can take drop cloth and stick white and red duct tape to itake to it do you think it would adhere
Hi, thanks this is excellence. Could you make another kind which could be proper to handle rain. I live in tropic place. That would be very beneficial.
@@mimiski88 I already had PVC pipe and Velcro at home. So I ended up spending about $28 at Joanns for the awning material and $20 at Home Depot for acetone and a can of white paint.
If you don't have acetone... Using nail polish remover does the trick.. basically they are the same thing ❤ for anyone who already has this product or needs to be cheap
Hi :) thank you for much for the tutorial. Would you mind linking a c clamp that you would recommend? We are using this outside and I just want to buy the correct one. Thank you 😊
I've used this 2 1/2" c-clamp on a couple of projects - amzn.to/3Q8CUr7 but recently I've been using more steel spring clamps, if you just need a couple they are inexpensive at Harbor Freight or you can by 12 or 24 packs on Amazon - www.harborfreight.com/search?q=spring%20clamp Of course, the most important thing is to double check that the size will fit over the table and PVC pipe.
Hi Shayla, you are correct! The corner fittings add a couple inches to each end of that 66 inch pipe. I also needed the frame to sit on top of the table without risking it sliding off an edge. So I designed it to be slightly smaller than the 6 ft tabletop. Thanks for watching!
@@EventAnswer I would like to make this for a 4 foot x 2 foot table..Would you be able to provide the measurements for that size of table.. I would appreciate it if you could..
Hi there. I am trying to make this for a 4 foot table..I tried figuring out the cut sizes for the pvc pipes but when I tried it. It didn't fit right on the table. Is there any way you can tel me how to do this for a 4ft length x 2 foot width table with curves corners. I'm trying to make this for a Halloween carnival theme
This is awesome I want to use this idea for an ice cream truck. I want to mount a canopy over the serving window, any tips on how I can make it weather proof?
Hi Takanya, I have used "C" clamps to hold it to the table before, they just need to be big enough to fit over the thickness of the table and the pipe. If you didn't put a tablecloth down under the stand you could always tape the frame to the table. I think it depends on the look you are going for, where you use it (i.e. outside where it might be windy vs. inside), and how you camouflage the mechanics of holding it to the table. I'm thrilled you are using it at an upcoming event! I hope you have a wonderful carnival!
I've linked the sewing scissors I use in the description. They are one of the best Christmas gifts I've ever received and cut fabric like butter. As for the pipes, you can find them at any hardware or home improvement store (i.e. Home depot, Lowes, Ace, Menards). Happy making!
I would love to make this . If you could give me the conversion measurements for a four foot table I would really appreciate it.. My math skills are lacking 😂
I think you're going to want to weight the entire table at the bottom then, because you've basically made a giant kite. If you get a strong wind, you'll need to have that whole shebang secured to the ground somehow. ❤️🙏
Super like , what's ur name on Facebook and Instagram I want to follow u and show u some picture I want u learn us how to make ,finally u r perfect one
This is EXACTLY what I need! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
That's a brilliant idea to string the fishing line through and hang for painting!
This is such a nicely done video. Clear, consice but also shows us enough detail without being too wordy. I enjoyed every minuet.

Uae a vinyl felt back table cloth and dont worry about sewing and gluing.
What size tablecloth?
AMAZING... That just blew me away, and I needed this so much to set up a food stall for my girl scout project.

Thanks for this. I was looking for a way to repurpose a garden table to a outdoor bar and wanted a canopy. Great idea!
Gonna try this for my artist alley display
AMAZING step by step. I just made this and it turned out perfect! Thank you so much!

Thank you. I’m going to do this for my first little market event.
Looks great. Thanks for the tip on removing the ink. How would you clamp the canopy to a table?
This is amazing!! I’m horrible with measurements but I want to tackle this project for my vending table. 🎉

This is brilliant.! I was looking for something like this as an addition to my dessert cart. Thank you so much for this.!

What was the average cost of doing this if you don't mind me asking 😀

So helpful!! Used this for our dance theme State Fair

I’m using for a tiki bar! Perfect 🤩
You did so well! I’m so happy I found this. I plan on using mine for a display at a pop up shop! Thanks for sharing! :)

I love you for making this video !!!
Beautiful
Love your creative
Love your diy work
I love your ideas , did you get you Upstair Carnival event?
Love this!!
Thank you, very creative ❤
If it fits on a 6ft table, which is 72 inches, how come the long pipes need to be 66 inches? Are the 3 way Ts adding additional inches?

YOU’RE AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for making this video 💜💜💜 gonna build one for my booth for when I do pop-up art markets
What dimensions would you do for an 8ft table? Just add to the top and bottom pipes, or would you change anything else?
I would love to know how to clamp this to a table
This is awesome I want to use this idea for an ice cream truck. I want to mount a canopy over the serving window, any tips on how I can make it weather proof?
You could maybe use a waterproof spray for fabrics
Waterproof fabric would also work like PVC type material I think but you'd have to cut and sow together rather than paint I think
Hi ! do you think you can do an actual size canopy ? 😻
Great job thank you.
Ouuu this is some good stuff! ❤❤
Great idea! Thank you!
You mentioned clamping it to the table. What do you suggest using to clamp it to the table? I'd like to make this for our upcoming carnival. Thanks

I would also recommend some simple sand bags on either side to weight it down.
How easy is this to travel with?
It all disassembles down pretty small. You just have to be able to fit the length of the longest pipe into your vehicle.
Love this where can I get those pipes as well as the scissors? Thank you
I've linked the sewing scissors I use in the description. They are one of the best Christmas gifts I've ever received and cut fabric like butter. As for the pipes, you can find them at any hardware or home improvement store (i.e. Home depot, Lowes, Ace, Menards). Happy making!
