    Hi, *methionine* is lower a cost option. (S-Adenosyl*methionine*) Don't buy the NOW product as contains sytheic B6 that doesn't agree with many people.. (though otherwise NOW often has value options)

    • @immimzi
      @immimzi 2 года назад

      Can you clarify that? I am using NOW products because of their prices and reviews.

      Because methyl b6 and b12 are better than the natural versions. I only use vitamins made from whole foods but they do include some of these methylated specific vitamins because it's much better including synthetic B1 bentofiamine.

    Is there a serotonin syndrome risk when combined with a SSRI? This is not the first place I've seen/read it's a safe combo, but lots of other sources say combining the two can lead to serotonin syndrome. I'm curious if the people saying that are just assuming it does because they both can involve serotonin

    • @MyLifeInTheDesert
      @MyLifeInTheDesert Год назад

      Both scenarios are possible. Serotonin syndrome could occur but it also could be a good adjunct to an SSRI in lower doses. Depends on your dose, your depression, etc. Always check with your doctor

    I am in the UK and I have been looking for things to help with fibromyalgia, depression, fatigue and Methylation problems. This seemed to tick all the box's, so I ordered it from USA, because you cannot buy it here. I then read the there has been a study done this year which says that it's toxic and damages the body. The thought that when they gave it to mice there would be an improvement in health and in fact the opposite happened and the mice got more sick. The same thing happened when they used it on human cells. So once again I have wasted my money.
