All those flashbacks when she's leaving is so poignant. He was really good to her. Genuinely cared about her well being. It's extremely hard to watch her break apart at realising her feelings aren't returned and that she's finally shutting the door on her crush. All the stuff that he gave her, gifts that he bought, she dumps it in a box and closes the lid on her feelings. It makes me feel bad too that she cuts herself off from him for 2 years and he's genuinely hurt by that but doesn't hold it against her. He's a good dude. And she's extremely mature with how she handles this and all the things that happen to her (and him) after this episode.
