Thanks for helping justify my "audio" guilt! I feel so guilty skipping videos that have poor audio quality. Especially when there is good video quality. I thought that was just me!
Hey man your editing is way better than mine, But one thing you missed is pacing, you started video from FAST to SLOW but for social media you should use the FAST AND SLOW FAST AND SLOW PACING. I mean the up and high

I see that you have an issue choosing the thumbnail personally I think the one without additional text looks overall better since I understood immediately what the video will contain and I think it looks overall nicer ( great video btw)

I use the lauten audio ls-208. It's really good, but I've had issues with it's connectivity at times. It's also not great in rooms without great sound treatment.

I've complained about the subtitles since 2024 when I had time to watch Shorts videos, because of how terrible the subtitles were. What I complained about was the overused single-word subtitles, which made me have to limit my watch time because the subtitles were unreadable and annoying. I wish the subtitles were readable like before. And about *pacing my video*, I don't like it, because starting it makes me feel like I've made cringeworthy videos. By doing it, I will no longer prioritize quality over quantity, and the cringeworthy messes up with the quality. It's what I am afraid of. But thank you for the explanation.
I wouldn’t say necessity, but it depends on the type of work you’re doing. For example on RUclips most people want some sort of motion graphics experience. If you’re editing a film, not usually.
Good question. I either take a productive break (healthy snack, exercise, etc) and come back later, or I move on to a different section of the video. Sometimes when the creativity isn’t there you can only focus on the “low-level” tasks like cutting, and that’s fine! But, recently I’ve also been mapping out my animations in one sitting when I’m feeling more creative so that I don’t have to think of them on the spot while I’m editing. Hope this helps!
