We need to have an exchange of arts at the wagah border, movie premiers, concerts, exchange of food, music, fashion show. We can stay on our sides and enjoy if it’s too political, but it would be so beautiful to sow the seeds of connection.

Where one side of the border is promoting movies like fighter and encouraging hate, there other side of the border is showcasing how the partition broke homes, hearts, dreams, and separation caused heart aches, broken homes, displaced people.

@@Vancytrainer an eye for an eye makes the nation blind. Indian media and film industry has far more influence than Pakistani media/comms. There is a responsibility to be conscientious. Partition was an immensely traumatic event in human history. A land and nation being divided into parts. My grandparents were forced to leave their beloved Rajasthan and come to Karachi. My grandmother died at the age of 87 but never did she forget her beloved Rajasthan and yearned for it until her last breath.

Paaji Pagri is weak here. It is not real sikh pagri. The Tea seller in back frame Pagri is more professional than the main lead.
Lead female acting is way too owsum here. Her left eye presentation in the first scene is way pure cinema. 10/10
The way sikh paa G brings smile while crying in the meetup scene is pure excellence.
The meet up scene should have came a little slow during "kaavish" part would have made the scene more absorbing to us.
The cut scene from car to train is greatly transited.
The use of Old roh afzaa poster and Lux poster from old times has shown great working of the set design team.
Both main leads wearing the wedding rings but someone else names "uff direction".
"Purana gawaandi" use of real "thos" punjabi is great.

What was the representation behind left eye presentation in the first scene?
I think the pagri used is different from the current pagri style common in east Punjab because this was the pagri style of west Punjab in the partition days
