This one turned out a treat! Add the smoke pipe when you tackle your next tractor, I say. It's incredible that those rubber tracks have survived this long without becoming fossilized, and the rubber cracking to bits! Amazing, Jason!
The restoration looks great but I could see that re-assembly was very tricky indeed! I would add the exhaust to complete the restoration and I agree that the tracks look good in the green color. Thanks for sharing this.
red shield, yellow body, green tracks... good thing the driver ain't blue. ;) a rare find, I think if the original tracks weren't falling off from aging some kid would pull them off as they often just kept slipping off the wheels. aside that, I'd add the exhaust together with the other versions later. but I still would add it. :) would be a shame if this newly restored piece would be incomplete.
Awesome restoration, the restored dozer looks beautiful. My only question ist why not use the replacement driver as it looks the same. So you had to sacrifice another innocent driverfigure...
Hello, absolutely love your work! I would've made the same mistake about that exhaust pipe myself if I was doing this, but even so this looks absolutely fantastic! Looking forward to seeing what you'll be working on next! So I am aware that you've done commission work for customs in the past, and I was wondering if you'd be able to tackle a Diecast replica of one of my cars. I have a 1966 AMC Rambler Ambassador 990 4-door sedan, which unfortunately does not have a Diecast casting available for it. The only thing remotely similar in shape to it that I've been able to find are the Hot Wheels 1966 Ford Fairlane 427 and the Matchbox Ford Galaxie Fire Chief, one of them is a 2 door coupe while the other is obviously vintage and valuable. Do you think you would be up for the challenge of turning a 2 door Ford Fairlane into a 4 door AMC Ambassador?
Nice Resto, but ohhh a decapitated driver......It appears that there wasn't sufficient Occupational Health & Safety going on at his previous worksite. 😉🚜

Turned out great. Much respect for the folks on the assembly line putting those together
Nice restoration, details and paint job 👌 👍

The existing driver is a fully cast part of the model so it would be quite tough (and a waste of effort) to replace the entire driver!
@@DieCastRestos Thanks for your explanation. I thopught the driver could be replaced ..
1 i have on the back burner
