- I Tried Stock Photography Using AI For 90 Days & Made $____! (Beginner)
So in this video, I show you guys how you can make some extra cash through a method of using Midjourney and ChatGPT, all whilst putting myself through a 90 day challenge to see how much I can make as a new seller. I use the online image generation software Midjourney to create images for stock websites such as Adobe Stock, iStock, Gettyimages, Shutterstock, Depositphotos, Alamy, Dreamstime, 123RF, Stocksy and more.

One of the most original video I've seen in my entire life. There is no quick way there is no shortcut. There is either a lot of effort and with time you get the reward or if you are a lazy person and think with 50 or 100 images you want to make millions then its done for you. Thank you a lot Julian really appreciate with this eye-oppening video that show the truth of how things actually work.
I don't like this side hustle but I like your dedication and simple way to document it keep it up bro
Please which one do you like
I like this youtuber, very honest
I appreciate that. There's no need to lie or cover things up, it doesn't help anyone.
I'm going through kind of the same challenge myself. But I upload both real photos and AI-images. The funny thing is - AI-images are accepted faster that real ones
That is odd, you'd think Adobe would prefer real photos. How is your portfolio doing so far?
@@Julian_Adams yeah, I also thought so. I created my Adobe portfolio around a month ago. I started by sending 50-70 files, both photos and AI-images. All the AI-images that I sent were accepted and I have 10 sales, but i'm still waiting for real photos to be reviewed
@@Julian_Adams I've started my Adobe Stock journey a month ago. I upload both Ai and real images, but mostly AI, I've had 10 sales so far - all AI images, and the real images are still being reviewed
which platform you are talking about?
@@HauntedHorrorShorts Adobe Stock
I have been following this person for a long time. I think he is a good person because he is one of the few people who share the complete information , an example of this is this clip that summarizes my experience in this field. I hope you upload the video and do not stop
Thank you! I appreciate it
I’m an Adobe Stock contributor and I can tell you that if you continue putting in the work, you can definitely capitalize on your work over the years. If I had a tip, it would be to concentrate on the seasons that are coming up, like the holidays and tailor your content for it to be in demand for those times.
Hello, I am an Adobe Stock participant, can I ask something? When you upload your images, do you put them in photos or illustrations? Shouldn't the photos be photos taken with a real camera? I always put what I draw with artificial intelligence in illustrations. Why do you think he put it in the photos in the video? Do you know what you do?
It was really good content and most of all, I liked the honesty. Thank you so much bro!
Honest Video! RUclipsrs claim make huge money by uploading images on stock websites. Thank you so much bro!
not really with that thumbnail.
Great content. You're clear and to the point. Would like an update in next month or two on sales.
Thank you I appreciate that! I will do another update in a month or two, and hopefully with good news!
Yes please make an update 😊
greatly made video with excellent information. thank you Julian, I just subbed
I've given up submitting to 123RF, as I'm still waiting for them to review my images after several weeks.
I've been doing stock since around 2006, but have just recently gotten around to uploading again. Even though more than half my images on Adobe are AI, it's the proper images that are selling, including some that I uploaded back in 2007 taken with a 6MP camera. It really comes down to picking the right subject I think.
I've found that Adobe are much quicker at reviewing AI stuff and editorial than normal commercial images.
Now this author is "the real McCoy", as we say in California, USA. This is the type of channel I subscribe too. I'll be going through his archives next.....
One of the most genuine creator on RUclips. Sub ❤
To make good money on Adobe stock you need to have at least 10,000 images uploaded. I'm talking about approved images, not images in review. Did you keep track of how many of your images were rejected? That is where you should focus your research. Find out what types of images are being rejected and why they were rejected. Do this and your image approval will increase which leads to more images in your portfolio.
You just gained a subscriber ❤️
Thank you!
Thank you so much Julian for this very informative video 🤍
A lot of hard work behind 🔥
God Bless you
Great content mate🙌🙌🙌
I still cant get how you get low views
Keep going!!!!
Just subscribed
Love to see a good-looking man working hard! Would love to see an update. Thanks for posting this. Xo
thanks' for your honesty. I pretty much did the same, but i automated a lot of my steps bit further. (image upscaling with local PC, tag generation with ChatGPT) I also stuck with the series of an image principle, so that i can reuse same tags for a few images.
I am now getting about 20-30$ per week. (i have over 15k approved images already)
is it worth the time ? absolutely not. But i want to build up passive income, and well, instead of gaming i now invest time in AI image creating :)
😊Hey mate, care to share some tips? Like If you could go back in time, what are the things you would do and wouldn’t do?
Super awesome content you have made. I appreciate your all efforts. Thanks.
As you type it in the video, would you please do more print on demand challenges?🙂 I'm confused which site I should choose to start
You seem to have your pics set to 5376x3584 . What are the recommended sizes on these sites. Maybe you are making them a bit too small for a commercial pictures.
Hi Julian, can you please share a link to your shutterstock profile? To see the photo examples better. Thank you!
What do you use for the batch upscaler?
Amazing work. Thank you, just what I wanted to know.
Very hard working man 💪
Looking forward to what happens in the future having those photos still in the portfolio! Great content, super transparent, awesome!
Hi.
Now with the problem of Adobe to peek at the cloud is worth giving up the Adobe subscription?
Did you annul your subscription?
I already gave up.
As a contributor to Adobe Stock Photos I will be harmed and my photos will not be sold?
Bro, how do you make ai images for stock photography? How do you edit photos for stock photography? What's your process.
What are your thoughts on creative market, canva and creative fabrica for selling bundles of images such as mockups?
If you find an image, you can literally remake a copy that image with AI. So images are worth 0 dollar, but the tech that makes it are worth
I agree, eventually everyone will know how to use AI in order to generate the images they want, instead of having to licence them.
I have always thought myself that it should be hardly possible to earn doing things with such a low entry barrier. You just prove my point.
Unless someone is able to go above and beyond everyone else and upload like crazy, they may see some better returns. But generally I agree with you here
Thank you for your efforts !!!
Hey i love Your video and watching from India keep it up uploaded video it's helpful
Is it okay to put the pictures posted in adobe stock photos on other sites eg: shutter stock
I'd like a reply to this question too. Can you re-use all the photos you've made on other stock photo portals like Freepik?
Hi! Very good video! Can I ask how is it going now, after 2-3 months after? Are the sales consistent?
FWIW - I've tried a very similar process.
After 6 or 7 months, my statistics:
204 Images uploaded. 93 Downloads. Total Sales $62.55
Definitely not a get rich quick scheme. But kindof a fun way to practice using Midjourney.
@@ericberget cool, thanks for the info. Are these only ai images, and you uploaded them to adobe only?
I tried shutterstock where they dont allow ai but sometimes they accept them accidently, not noticing. So I made 4$ in 2 weeks with that. 0$ in adobe though yet with 50 images (slow process)
@@ericbergetHi, you did not encounter the 51 upload limit
Challenges on using AI tools for different business niche clients. For example restaurants, bars. Real estate agents. Create maybe a service or package.
Those are some really good ideas! I'll definitely look into these, thank you :)
Hey, are you looking for a thumbnail editor?
I'm a bit skeptical. A lot of sites you mention does not allow Generative AI Images. For example shutterstock. There is a part of me that wonders if I joined Shutterstock and never mention my uploads were AI, would I get away with it?
I just found your channel when I got interested in trying out this gig. How much have you earned since then? Thanks!
Can you do zazzle print on demand video
hey good video , can you tell me the bilan after 12 month please and tell me how many you paid the AI generator on discord ?
Thanks, it save my time
Hello, 2 months later is it getting good? I started uploading 1 week ago. No sale yet for now of course😊
Hello brother, I have about 1,300 images in my portfolio on the Adobe Stock website. I started on this site a month ago, but with all of these images I only got five downloads. Should I continue on this site because I spend a lot of time and I don’t see any benefit from it yet? ...........
How many days does it take for review process on Adobe? And coming to your question..its only been a month. Don't lose hope. @maa-v5m
apart from midjourney, which ai tool lets us monetize our images for free?
How is it going now ? Updates please.
At the moment, just over 1,800 images, 104 downloads, with $75.40 made. I'll try get more uploaded and make an update video in a few weeks.
@@Julian_Adams Whoa....that's dedication, haha
Are you uploading the same image on all the platforms?
Also how many days adobe stock took to approve your images?
I've been trying to, but most platforms don't allow for AI images so I'm just sticking to Adobe Stock for now. On my dashboard it says up to 8 weeks, but sometimes they review them quicker.
@julian i have upload first 50 images 2 months ago but still they don't approved what would i do
thank youuuuuuuuuuuuu, gpt for keyword ^_^
Can i use leonardo ai free plan images on adobe? Or any plan needed?
I'm not familiar with leonardo ai I'm afraid, so I can't really say
Hat’s off to you Brother
Very helpful video
Thank you!
Could you please make a video showing the step by step??? Like the prompts format used with Chatgpt etc? Please or you could at least share the prompts and how to use it
I show the whole process in the video, along with the prompts and etc
If you pause the video, you can read the whole prompt on the screen. Nothing is blurred or edited out.
Do you already have a portfolio of stock photos taken from images? AI work requires a lot of images to increase sales.
Hey Julian what's the update? How is it going now?
Just in the process of a filming an update video, will hopefully post it next week :)
Thanks 😊
Bro hat's off to your efforts❤, but do you think it is a good side hustle?
Thank you bro! Honestly, I would only recommend it to people with very limited time and beginners looking to make a little extra each month
Bro make a challenge video on, trying to get SMMA clients, and if you able to score some, then you may outsource those client. That will be great and very informative ❤❤
That's a great idea! I'll see what I can do
Got any updates on earnings?
How do i withdraw the money from the site
please update the income for next year
superb
What's the update?
good tutorial
I'm glad it helped :)
Can i use this in india?
It takes 6 months Adobe to approve currently because of people uploading ai How you get approved in a week.
I haven’t seen that anywhere? Longest it said on the Adobe dashboard was 8 weeks when I first started.
@@Julian_Adams It does say that but least amount mine got approved was 3 months. Maybe you got lucky. Great video, thanks
Can you teach us prompt?
The prompt I've been using is shown at 5:33
Depositphotos didn’t accept any AI images uploaded
So $4.999..... where it's coming from? 😅😂
I am a professional graphic designer. I would like to work with you.
So much work to make so little,it’s disappointing.
You’ve made more money on this video.
Thanks for the warning
try print on demands
Would you say earning $500 a month from this is a realistic goal?
It would probably take you about a year to get to the size of portfolio needed for $500, which would be between 5.000 - 10.000 stock photos with high commerical value. Commerical value is important, you can upload 10k random pics and get 0 sales. Most of the time you would be wailting for approval, since you are limited to 50 uploads and have to wait about a month before they get approved and a considerable amount will be rejected (anywhere from 10%-50%) but it improves after you get enough sales.
@demischi3018 Thanks for this! I sorta went ahead and tried it out and yup, just learned that 50 limit and the long approval time lol. I'll give it a try for a few months and see how I feel about it. Luckily I just want some extra income on the side so it's not urgent or anything.
@@infjuxtaposition4473how did. it go
But you will make more with this video :).
Getty images Allow to sell ai images
Don't waste your time.....I already tried this out. Not worth it....They pay sometimes 10c - 75c for a high quality unique image!
For one download?
Thank you for wasting your time and showing it to us how useless it is.
it’s absolutely no brainer to expect income from mentioned websites.
There are billions of pictures at internet already in any kind with incredible amount of free images approved by their artists.
