Peru is one of the beautiful place in the planet Earth. Your Camera work is just superb. Even some videos are far better than other international travel channel like Expedia. LIKED & SUBSCRIBED. But i think you missed the Machu Picchu here in this video.
This was a few years ago so I don't know of the laws that exist in Peru now. But for most of our flights we asked a nearby guard of the areas if it was ok and they said yes. We find thats typically the best way to go.
@@Drinkteatravel That's amazing! The laws must be a bit more lax back then. I had alot of trouble getting approval. But glad you were able to maximize your experience!
Fahed Correa thanks! Yeah I was pretty careful when I took it up and made sure no one really saw where I started from. Be careful when flying into Lima as I’ve heard they have cracked down on drones entering the country unless you have a permit.
Drones are allowed in Peru. And you no longer need a permit to fly non commercially with a drone less than 1.5kg. You do still need to temporarily pay for the import duties though.
I came overland so didn't t have any issues, but I have heard from a lot of people that its quite hard to get the drone in when flying into Lima. You can always try and if unsuccessful just pick it up on the way out
It's not hard at all bringing a drone in by air to Lima. You MUST declare it through customs when you arrive and pay a fee that is about 10% of the drone's value. (Takes about 45-60 minutes extra upon arrival and dollars are accepted if you are from the U.S.) When you leave you return to customs and the entire fee is returned. The customs officers speak English. It takes a little time, but they will guide you through everything and it is certainly worth it.
Where did you see this? As I am leaving in a few days for Peru, this is news to me. I've not heard anything about this in recent weeks. Please let me know as it might affect my travel plans. Thanks!

Excellent work. You must have an amazing girlfriend too to allow you all the time that it takes to get these amazing shots. Mine gives me dirty looks if I even take my drone out of the box.

Yeah we didn't fly the drone there because the government and police really frown upon it and we didn't want to be disrespectful.
Congratullations good video
Thank you!

Really nice video! Did you have to get authorization to fly in alot of these places?

Helloooo. Great footage. Was it shot with the Inspire or Mavic 2 Pro?
All this was shot with the Mavic Pro 1
Nice 4K video, a sub from me. Good work with the drone footage, looking forward to seeing more. Thanks for posting.

Oficialmente no es permitido! Es muy peligroso porque te sacan el drone!

I thought you also needed to apply for the proper license for them to let you leave with it which costs ~$350?

Really Amazing!!!! Great Video Is it possible use it on a travel site, giving you the attribution? thanks
Please send us a private message with more details and we can discuss if its possible.
How were you able to fly the drone in Cusco and sacred valley everytine I try it says magnetic interference
Maybe you need to re-callibrate the drone. I know the new mavic pro 2 definitely needs it more then the original.
Did you have any problem at the arrival in the airport with the drone? Is there a fee to pay like a money deposit to the authorities? Thanks
I didn't, but I have heard other people have.
👍👍🇷🇺

Yes, Oksana sometimes makes me fly even when I dont want to!

Did you have the right to take off freely in public places?
Any time we were taking off from public places we typically asked police or security in the area.
Cusco es mas bonito q Lima
