Quite the opposite. Episodes like this are our favourite, cuz we get to see the reactions of other characters on the crew's recent exploits and touch base with other characters and what they've been up to. This story is not just about the crew.
I said this once I'm going to say this again there's a character in the show called Panda Man. Which Oda puts in a lot of episodes like a Where's Waldo situation. Look them up online so you can see what he looks like. And see if you could point them out It's just mad funny when you do.
Canon balls are just round pieces of metal trown really fast, they never explode in any situation unless it is a specially Made bomb, or if a movie wants extra explosions i guess
@@johnnylight0tbh, it feels like they're scared to make characters smile in the live action. Nojiko, Belle-mère and Makino are the three main examples I can think of who pretty much never smile in the live action.
@@johnnylight0 Belle mère died with a smile in the original. Nojiko was able to smile through the hardship. Makino smiled to try to defuse the bandits. No reason those smiles couldn't be shown.

They changed Nojiko’s character in the LA for no reason at all, she’s so good in the anime
No time to fully expand on all the characters and themes, so introducing "conflict" makes it feel like something is actually happening
