For people bitching about no space battles: The idea is that they're using the skybox's and aesthetics of planets already featured in the game, this way they don't need to try and create huge spherical maps from the ground up on this engine, and instead focus on gameplay. Still providing the dogfights, but without the cost of time and resources to add space battles this late into development.
Just thought of something. To reduce repetitiveness of just killing a shuttle or two for every dogfighting match, what if they made different random objectives for each map. So on Solust it could be take out the shuttles evacuating to eliminate the VIP, or destroy the communications dish by controlling the skies over it for a y-wing bombing run, or destroy the enemy destroyer to stop enemy control of the area or something like that. So the strategies may change every time you play the map.

I would love there to be a game mode were u control the star destroyers and rebel ships and battle in them. Much like the new game "dreadnought" I think this would be epic!
I probably had nothing to do with this...but on the official EA Facebook page, I suggested a multiple times that it would be badass if we had space battles AND hero ships, just like hero's on foot. Then I went on with suggesting ideas like the Millennium Falcon being the rebel hero ship, the Slave 1 being the imperial hero ship.....then went on about details of weapons such as the falcon having heat seeker missile ability, the Slave 1 having Seismic charges etc etc.

Milenos was there any in the original Battlefront?? cause this one is actually a reboot of it with some new touches...so far after 10 years is looking pretty good and i couldn't ask more and just wait for dlc or a sequel.
im curious about the hit boxes of the hero ships cuz surely anyone could hit the mulenum falcon cuz its so flat and the bounty hunter ship fly's very oddly soo i suppose thee gonna be lead magnets for every one cuz there definitely gonna give more xp
Not a fan of just 10v10. Love the idea of AI, keep it, but I sincerely hope that they at least allow people to run their own servers like with BF3/4 and specify more players.
Joseph Bernarte There's offline missions you can play solo or (splitscreen) co-op. Supposedly (according to DICE), there's more maps/content in missions than in multiplayer mode.
Cosmonic DICE never said anything like than. They said that it had a lot of content in the Missions Mode instead of having only wave based missions. But they never said that there was more content in the Missions Mode than in the Multiplayer.
This battle has nothing to do with the new movie. Why can you play the Slave 1 when Boba Fat is dead? Also the Hoth Battle is not "The Battle of Hoth" from Empire it is just a Battle on this Planet. Like on Sallust.
Jelle Zon Boba Fett survived his encounter with the Sarlacc Pit. It take sa long time for it to digest it's contents so he was able to climb out of the esophagus.

The kenner Micromachines Slave I toy was amazing! Even came with a carbonite Han Solo to place in the compartment under the ship.

This is better than space battles. Rather fight in an actual world than a black skybox with nothing nothing on it.

Is anyone else annoyed that the slave 1's "wings" aren't right? They're still locked in the position they would be in when the ship has landed.
