My favorite Mary J Blige song of all time.
This came out in 1994. This song would’ve been way bigger if she had done a video for it. Definitely in my top 5 Mary songs. Such a classic!! ♥️ This whole album is a Dummy Download, bro. No skips!! 😌
Her song “No Limit” got more rotation than this so they did a video for it instead
I can still play the whole CD front to back & sing every lyrics, no skips! This was Mary in her prime 💛 we felt her pain but she made some soulful ass music 😩
Me and a bunch of friends went to go see Mary J. in 2022. When she performed this song, the ENTIRE audience sang along with her. Goons were were even in their feelings singing this song.

"Reminisce" from her first album is also a jam. She isn't called the Queen of Hip-hop soul for nothing...
The pain. Mary was going through it back then. This dropped in 1994, a day after I turned 4 years old and at 32 yrs old this is her best song and album to me. This song is almost a gospel song how she references putting faith in the lord. Dope reaction per usual.
Her song “No Limit” is slightly better than this….and it stayed on rotation when it dropped back then

Mary J at the start of the prime of her career. Too bad this generation mostly rely on clicks and youtube views to discover an artist. So appreciative of buying and still have this album in my collection at home 30 yrs later. Timeless song and easily in my top 10 songs ever by MJB
