I really wish capcom would invest a bit into a combo tournament. They tried it at a event but I'd love to see actual lab monsters get sponsored to go out and perform/compete like skateboard tournaments.
You know why it will NEVER happen? Because doing a combo tournament on a dummy or training mode is LAME af.. Actual combos being done on ACTUAL game setting and tournament means more and brings more hype..
Street fighter 6 is not the right game for combo tournaments, the possibilities are limited and you'd start seeing very similar combos very often. Combos using ed's s2 or dhalsim's fireball, that's gonna be it.
This game isn't loose enough to do that... You need a game like marvel 2 or 3 or even Dragonball fighters.. Street fighter 6 may have more combo potential than Street fighter 5 but it's not enough to do a whole competition for... Would get stale pretty quickly or at least after the first tournament.
For anyone wondering what is going on with the air fireball super interaction, fireballs have collision and when the collision of one of the booms comes into contact with the collision of the air super the air super is pushed back (to prevent clipping I guess?) which allows the air fireball to collide with the next boom, rinse and repeat. It isn’t a glitch, it is intended behavior of fireballs that just looks goofy in this case.
2:40 Figures. The first Manon combo I see that actually deals good damage relative to the amount of resources spent has to be part of a Desk experimental combo video 😓.

I could see iDom doing a Manon combo like that in a real set. He’s done some crazy incredibly situation specific stuff seemingly on the fly in the pass with Laura and Poison. Or Du pulling off the Guile loops for literally no reason other than to send a message in grand finals. Getting hit by the full longest one has to destroy you mentally more than any pop off.
was just wondering since the "new" ED tech lvl 2 combos have been surfacing can you do a MORE extensive/elaborate combo of some sort i think you already did to some extent but just curious
I wish they would get rid of these extravagant new systems in this game and just take it back to the basics . Parts of this video looked like champion Edition with modern graphics and that just seems so appealing to me. Maybe I’m Just old but all this drive rush stuff just seems to constantly interrupt the flow and swing the tide of the match constantly. Plus the combos are too long . Unless you are Sako or haveput in work you should not be doing loops .
Bison feels like the new season 1 Honda. Annoyingly cheap and plus on too many moves. For once I am happy the fat guy will no longer be treated like the scrublord.
