envy is the best bang for your buck, I always see silver and the midnight purple color but hardly ever see the white, I have the 2020 model with a full keyboard and for the price its almost impossible to find fault. 10/10 recommend. keep in mind earlier models go the same price as later models but have less type C ports. depending on your lifestyle you want the type C ports (I use a hub now).
I haven't had problems with the hinges but the right corner or my screen was coming out but I popped it back in and haven't has an issues with the laptop since.

Yes, this computer works great in tablet mode but you are right it is quite heavy. I can’t just walk around with it in tablet mode. Yes, it works well. The battery just runs down pretty fast and if you are using it in tablet mode, it will be uncomfortable to carry around but o there than that it works great.

The battery has gotten where over tuned in my opinion. The battery live is around 3 hrs. And that with low brightness and battery saver mode and with few applications open etc. im thinking about getting an ipad or something apple

Hp laptops have hinges that break after the warranty and the repair is very expensive, so I recommend you don’t buy HP brand. Do some research! I brought hp and the hinge really break after the 2 year warranty and now no places is fixing it or the cost is half the price of the laptop 😢
You don't have to worry about the spectre models they ar the top of the line hp model ... Envy is not well build.... Your laptop will be just fine ....

I haven't had problems with the hinges but the right corner or my screen was coming out but I popped it back in and haven't has an issues with the laptop since.
