It's lovely to hear this aria in relief of the Met At-Home Gala.
Even if this opera were to be done in concert at the Met, it would reintroduce this important work in operatic history to new audiences.

I hope the Met will realize its luck to now hold 2 (at least) worthy successors to the Sutherland and Sills (Oropesa and Morley) to program this repertoire (Les Huguenots/Robert Le Diable/Esclarmonde...) in the coming years.

@@69EBubu the way the Met works, even if they did stage an opera like this, it would be 5 or 10 years from now when the singers in question no longer sing as well as they did.
