Hi Julia, it looks like Egypt is marked as partially open, as a test from an approved laboratory is required within 96 hours of arrival for most nations, and Maldives also requires a test, but you also need to provide your hotel reservation for the entirety of your stay and could be subject to partial quarantine.
@@lifebylinda not true. It is fully open since a while ago.- "US citizens over the age of six must have paper copies of negative test results (not digital), taken within 96 hours of departure for Egypt. Proof of health insurance is also required. Expect health screening procedures in place at airports and at other various ports of entry. Though it has been so in the past, US citizens do not need to quarantine as of early November 2020. Most businesses in Egypt - including restaurants and bars - are operating at 50 percent capacity. Masks are required on public transit."
Dude .... Brazil!? Don’t be promoting people go to Brazil - please do research of hospitalizations and facility capacity, etc. Really irresponsible of you , sorry you look like a nice person ...
Love your content! I found your channel because I'm planning to create the same video next week actually. Super useful, thank you! Already subscribed :)
Love her content as well! Please check out ours as we are consistently traveling the world during 2020 and love our supporters ! We just finished turkey and hot air balloon travel and are in Egypt Now ‘
I would assume so, I have crossed a border by car and the requirements were the same as by air travel ( a bit more controlled than air travel from what I've heard others say). Hope that helps!
It looks like they have pretty severe restrictions at the moment, not allowing entry if you've been in a long list of countries within the last 14 days, unless you have a specific visa or are a resident/citizen.
Macedonia is great! I spent about 2 months there and there is some beautiful nature. Lots of hikes, Lake Ohrid is a great spot, and the locals are incredibly friendly and helpful. They have some pretty good restrictions in place re the virus, you have to wear masks outdoors even and everything closes at 9pm. Are you planning a trip there?
@@lifebylinda Maybe I only know it’s in the Balkans but don’t know much else. My brother has been to Serbia which is just north but he said the people weren’t too friendly.
@@Jimmylad. Yea, the balkans do have a bit of that reputation. I am based in Bulgaria so am used to it. But Macedonia is definitely different in that respect. Skopje is an interesting city, like I said Lake Ohrid is beautiful, and there is some great wine regions and vineyards to visit besides the hiking. I would definitely recommend it.
@@lifebylinda Yeah I did some research and decided to go to Mexico.. I prefer colder places in Europe, but with Covid they just seem horrible.. Maybe next year, I would go to Romania outside the big cities, Rural Hungary and Czech and move somewhere in Eastern Europe.. but for now, Mexico and maybe Colombia
absolutely, I would recommend either going through your country's embassy page there, or check skyscanner.net - they have a pretty comprehensive list and guide based on what passport you hold.
Is it safe for me to travel to Brazil right now? I just flew on a air plane domestically in Canada like Toronto to Vancouver and I have no covid I self isolate and there was a outbreak in Toronto 1000 cases everyday when I travel I was extra cautious of my surroundings. I miss traveling so much it hurts 😭
Tanzania. No lockdowns no curfews no quarantine no keeping distanca btn individuals and yet wearing mask is not a must thing.....still life goes on and people are very free of covid-9(uviko). Come and see the reality. Game and wildlife parks are open for tourists and quarantine for visitors, you won't beleive this is Tanzania.
Why did you not mention Egypt? Its been open since July. My daughter left Egypt in August to visit us here in the States and returned without a glitch. My son followed her in late Sept. All he needed was a PCR test which is no later than 4 days prior to dep. I will be heading out there in two weeks (Dec 3) and staying for a month - main base Cairo then Sharm el Sheikh, Aswan, Luxor, then later Alexandria and other spots here and there. My daughter is my real news source for what is going on over there, and its totally fine. It would be good for Egyptian tourism if you would add it to another updated video and edit your description box for the countries you left out. There are more than you mentioned. And these countries need tourism to return, it affects every piece of the puzzle. I am doing my part. I hope that more people would treat this fake pandemic for what it is - control. And just be more attentive to cleanliness and when you feel even the slightest bit sick. No one freaks out every year during flu season which kills thousands of people every year. Covid is real, but just like any other illness. Many people get the flu and a tiny percentage dies from it. The same with Covid. "large amount of cases, very small amount of deaths". Planes are more sanitary than ever before. People have been flying in these petri dishes for years and no one cared until they were re-taught the basics of hygiene and germs learned as kids.
I don’t understand why do you want to travel at the moment?
Do you have to self isolate when you get back to the U.S?
Priceless info! Many thanks! 🙏🙏🙏
This is an awesome video, thank you! Planning to visit Kosovo/Macedonia later this month and have a few new ideas from this video as well
Oh that's great! I've heard amazing things about the hiking in Kosovo as well. Enjoy the trip!
We are actually traveling right now! Please support us and check out our vlogs in turkey and soon Egypt ❤️
What about Egypt and Maldives? I've heard they're open too.
And thanks for posting cases per 100k, not the total. Great, scientific approach

Great video
this is going to sound like the dumbest question ever but if you're traveling by car to Mexico do u still need a passenger locator form?
I would assume so, I have crossed a border by car and the requirements were the same as by air travel ( a bit more controlled than air travel from what I've heard others say). Hope that helps!
Love from India ! What is name of background music ?
Is USA open for tourism?

Hows the air quality there? Maybe I'll go to Macedonia
I'll be honest, it's not the best, especially in Skopje

Whether Vietnam is open?
It looks like Vietnam still has very heavy restrictions in place and is only allowing business visitors from what I can tell
I want to go somewhere not locked down
