I was Pre MotoAmerica superbike race in NJ when Chris Fillmore was riding Superbike for KTM. His RC8 R bike easily had over 200HP he was slicing his way up through the field until he crashed. he started in like 22nd and ran all the way up to 7th and he was closing in on on the front. 5 more laps he would have easily taken 4th or 3rd place. There's at least another 20 or 30HP in those motors.
Hey man I’m a fan of the channel. Just a word of advice - if you’re not comfortable leaning in the twisties it’s gonna be hard at the track. See if you can borrow an R3 or ninja400 to start out, will make it much easier
Thanks! I have already been to the track before I posted this video. I ride and lean a lot faster and I don’t even have the RC8 anymore. lol I had an R3 when I first started riding.
Hey Eric! Name’s Eric V. I’m currently in the market for a supersport to add to my drable and I really am in love with v-twins. Currently between this and a panigale v2. Which one do you recommend?
Nice name! lol What do you plan to do with it? Are you wanting to ride track or just street? If you are going to do some track days I’d say RC8 all day. If not then Panigale V2. Plus the V2 is a sexier bike in my opinion. The RC8 is a beast but not the best for everyday riding.
@@itsmeericb so I’ve got a ‘22 1290 SDR EVO, ‘23 Sportster S, and a ‘23 TNT 135. I could probably track the superduke and get a panigale, what do you think is the move?
@@itsmeericb a cought that just as I sent the comment 😅 I have the dynojet on mine since I have the pcV but it's pretty rough compared to a lot of the stand alone QS's.

Looked fun Eric. Have you tried Moore Mafia for a flash tune? I am not sure if he does KTM or not. That is a tough one to find.
I’ve asked about it and he doesn’t tune most European bikes, especially KTM. Not even Brentune has anything. 😢

How is it finding parts for this bike? Are parts abundant?
Depends on the part. So far I haven’t had issue getting OEM or aftermarket parts. Only issue is there isn’t a huge selection of aftermarket options.
