WOW, from 1960’s to 1990 To Tell The Truth is still going! Orson and his hair color and Kitty from the original shows! The energy of the show however has dramatically dropped.
The year 1990 was precisely when there were campaigns in the United States stirring up a kind of paranoia about the economic designs of the Japanese government that translated into prejudice against Japanese people, and it is really sad that a seemingly nice person like Orson Bean allowed himself to be swept up in that behavior pattern. He should look back with remorse at the remark he made in this episode, about how it won't be long before Japan owns America. And 1990 was exactly when this was going on, I remember it well.
Yep. Sure should. Unfortunately, each episode takes about thirty minutes to edit, save, then publish to RUclips. I have a job with very long hours, plus a life to deal with. Getting them up as fast as I can. Wish I had the time to add them faster.
