- This is the only hunt I enjoy so I'll try to go for lower if I can.
Got this run while streaming so I lowered the audio a bit so that my voice can be heard, that's why it's more quiet than usual.

Whenever I read "IG is a good matchup vs Velkhana", this video is what I picture.
I'm in awe how well you used descending thrust and the fight was smooth. It mesmerized me that I could watch this over and not get bored.

Yeah. Never onew that descending thrust was that powerful since i only use the helicopter one when jumping.
Anyway what glaive is that? That 200 dmg looks delicious since i only dealt 50 damage per hit using flaming teuza+

It's shown at the end, it's the Fatalis glaive. Basically the endgame weapons with the highest damage.
@@FzPura yeah. It is fatalis weapon stats, but they layered appearance is the final fantasy glaive called "gae bolg"

Insane. I found Arch Velky much harder to kill in the time frame than Fatalis was haha im getting there though. I can get consistant 12min runs now

Hello! Newbie to iceborne here, what are those small explosions that happen throughout the fight like at 3:07?
Hey there! The thing that happens at 3:07 isn't an explosion, it's called a "bug drill". You can find more info about it here: ( ruclips.net/video/Kn4V9M500gg/видео.html ). A good amount Insect Glaive's damage comes from these bug drills which is why they are used a lot by players.

Brigade chest, Rose waist, silver knight gloves and legs
new to ig what combo are you using after the dive and when the monster is down?
After dive you just go for tornado slash if the opening is big enough, if not, just don't do anything after landing the dive. When monster is down you generally just do forward light attack > heavy attack > heavy attack, then just loop it

The dive down move on Insect hits for close to a helm breaker. You can spam this haha you cant spam helm breaker

@@fishnutz5196 not even close lol that move on ig glaive hits for about 300+ (400 at most on velks head which equals out to 700-800+ dmg. helmbreaker is 7 hits so if u hit for even 150 you’re already doing more damage lol for reference I hit 250 on a tenderized velks head which would be 1,750 dmg so not they’re not close at all
@@Uniqo.7 actually it hits twice for 200+ then 300+, you can also tornado right after for another 300+, then the kinsect drill which can hit 1-2 times (since velk's head is so thin). The damage would be close to 900-1000. Which is a lot for a weapon that's only above THE LANCE in damage. It's 13th place in DPS.
Like how… this is ridiculous. There are not enough carts in the game if I tried with my IG skills. I stay mostly on the ground couse when I fly I land in a cart 😂

I'm not expert but for some reason AT Velkhana is pretty easy to beat with Glaive😂. I'm speaking as a Glaive main and seriously Glaive is OP im the right hands😂
