How does it handle loud concerts? Is it noise canceling? Thanks!
Would be interested in knowing as well @b&h photo video
@@gonzalezmediaproductions4340 The current version does not have noise canceling, but stay tuned!
@@YiowMade Hey! currently version does not. Thanks for your support!
@@hollylandtech Does that mean there'll be an update that adds noise cancellation, or is there a new model coming with a dynamic mic that's less sensitive to ambient noise? That's the main thing making me hold back.
Wow, this is a fabulous system. The lack of needing belt packs puts it over the top in the decision making process of what system to buy.
Love the review. So, can the remove headsets communicate with each other or can they only communicate with the master?
Thanks for the awesome review!
So, can the remove headsets communicate with each other or can they only communicate with the master?
@@Aperturelane A master headset is required for all the headsets to operate!
@@hollylandtech Thanks! I understand the master is required for all the connections but can the other remote headsets talk to each other or do they only talk to the master?
@@Aperturelane Yes, the remotes can talk to each other as long as the Master is turned on and within range of the Master.
@@mowomedia4801 Thank you. Very helpful
Greetings. Can a XLR feed from an audio mixer connect to the PGM IN port? Just would like confirmation?
Does that mean, if I go with the 6 unit variation, and buy 3 separate units, I won't be able to use all 9 simultaneously and need the pricey hub variation instead? Or rather purchase two 6 variation units.
The Hollyland Solidcom C1 Intercom System allows you to link up to only five remote headsets with the master headset without using a hub. If you want to link up 8 headsets plus the master headset you will need to buy the hub to link all the headsets together. Buying two separate sets with two master headsets is not recommend. You wouldn't be able to link the two separate together and the connection may interfere with each signals.
If I buy the 6 Headsets setup and buy another master headset later, can i take some remote headsets from the first set and connect them to another master headset i bought later so that i can have two separate systems that can work independently? i.e First set: 1 master 2 remote, Second Set: 1 Master 3 remote Can this work? Thanks
yes, that’s doable. Both the Master headsets, and the Remote headsets are able to purchase separately outside of a kit.
What are the functions of the "pgm" an " 2 wire" xlr ports on the back
You can connect the hub to an external audio recorder using the XLR connection and it'll record all the headsets to that audio recorder.
@@BandH Is this correct? It's weird that it are female connectors for outputting audio. PGM would suggest you can send in a PGM sound and it can be send to the headphones with the communications? Is it possible to have this tested?
Anyway to integrate these into an existing clearcom system?
Yes, you can see what info Hollyland has about the SolidCom C1 and Clearcom 702 here: bhpho.to/45zYHMY
How does it compare to comtechs?
Not sure which "Comtech" product you are referring to. Please e-mail us details: askbh@bandh.com >Mark
Does it have noise cancellation
The headset them selves are not noise cancelling. The mic is directional, and captures the speaker's voice precisely while minimizing unwanted background sound.
Can this be connected to a wired intercom system?
No it cannot. The headsets only work with each other and the HUB Base.
@@BandH Just confirming, are you saying this cannot work together with an existing wired intercom system through the 2wire XLR socket at the back of the hub?
@@veryboringname. Sometimes B&H doesn't fully review docs or research before answering. Yes, you can integrate with with a typical wired intercom such as Clear-Com.
