Islah!! Thank you for making this video. You are very beautiful inside and out and you have a very pretty smile. I thought I was the only one going through this and it's been putting me in a very stressed and overwhelmed state. Your reassuring words were honestly so healing and validating. I stumbled upon your UGC tik tok but stayed because I love your aesthetic and mindset on life. When you were talking about how you're trying not to have the mindset of being happy when you achieve a specific milestone and it's better to be happy now, I gasped lol. That's exactly what I have been trying to tell myself. It's so hard to enjoy the journey along the destination and to smell the flowers for me personally. I don't know about you, but I see all these older people on social media having these exciting careers. You can tell it absolutely lights their soul up and it's what they were born to do. Well I want to find that too. I want to find it now, but I know it takes time! It's just so frustrating because I have so many questions that don't have answers yet lol. I know you will be just fine Islah. The fact that you feel this way means that you're on the right path. I wish you luck, abundance, and happiness on your journey!!

Thank you so much!🥹 It really means a lot to know that my words have an impact on someone and that they can relate to what I’m going through. The fact that this was healing and validating for you especially makes me so happy. I know exactly how you feel, constantly searching for answers but with what seems like nothing is in sight. But it’s only a matter of time and I’m optimistic that things will work out, so long as we put in the effort to take control of our lives and what we want to do. Wishing you all the best! 🥰

I completely understand. I am finishing up my bachelors for forensic chemistry and I know that a lab job does not line up with what I want out of life. I want to travel, Grow a family, live on a farm, and enjoy nature. In my second to last semester God told me I won’t be doing chemistry when I graduate. And although this makes it harder for me to complete all my assignments and put the same effort in I am relieved that I will be able to get more out of life.

Oh wow I did my bachelors in forensic chemistry as well! I originally thought that I’d want to work in the lab too but I’m nowhere near that career path anymore. But it’s good you know where you want to go from here🙌🏽

@@islahjade 😧 wow. Not many people choose this degree. I loved it and have wanted to do it since middle school but as I grew in my relationship with God I realized I care more about my relationships than my career.

@@HeyItsMaori there will always be a company looking for people to hire, but those relationships you’re building are one of a kind and most important to cherish 🙏🏽

I love your content so much. its so wholesome. I completely understand the feeling. I am in that transition between finishing school and getting my graduate job and I have been beating myself with self doubt because I don't feel complete because I haven't got a job yet but at the same time I recognise that my struggle truly resides in my lack of self esteem. I know I'm scared of the corporate world but I'm doing my best to combat that by reaffirming my identity in Christ while pushing through. My main fear is that once I overcome these things and get the job I've been crying for, I know deep down I won't even want to stay there forever because I know there is more for me than this; but I guess its all about figuring it out With God by your side to lead the way and ultimately all seasons of your life will be used for his glory one way or another as long as you stick by Him. Don't ignore your desire for more because that is also a form of redirection, your job right now may be a door that will be the key for your dreams.

I’m really glad you love my content and that it resonates with you 🥹 I completely understand the feeling you’re experiencing right now. But you shouldn’t fear the fact that you most likely won’t be at the same job forever. Life has so much to offer. I think that the possibility of changing career paths is a good thing. We’re always changing and growing so you don’t want to limit yourself to something and keep yourself there especially if you grow out of it. You’ve got this!☺️
