In English, to do something briskly has strong physical connotations, such as walking or going somewhere. 3) "To Breslau, the King marches in good calm." I understand the meaning here but it wouldn't be said this way in English. "...the king calmly matched...," would be a better rendering. 4) "But then the cannons hummed 'Cheers, good meal'" to it. Not sure exactly what that's saying. Thanks for posting and a nice rendition, however. Just trying to be helpful.
