I've watched many different videos on chernobyl, pripyat, and the surrounding villages. The largest missing piece in all the other videos is coverage of the city of chernobyl. I'll say that's mostly because everyone else is focused on pripyat, and a lot of the longer more detailed videos are made by stalkers. It's amazing what you can do with proper permits. Thank you for the most professional video.
I agree, so many only focus on Pripyat and almost never show the city of Chernobyl or any villages that are left, its like out of sight out of mind. Not everyone who was forced out lived in the big city. My heart breaks for all the Belarusians that lost family farmsteads . 😢
I love this video. It is art, ASMR, visual history and for me therapy. I start my day with this video playing while I have coffee. The colors of the scenery with the birds in the background give the video an ethereal feel. It’s a great video for meditation as well. I’m glad you didn’t cut the time down and took the time to be so comprehensive with your footage. Thank you for the work you put into making this video. You are truly an artist. ☮️
1:00:29 there's a green monitor on the building showing exposure to ionizing radiation in this area of 793 microroentgen per hour (793 microR/hr). It would have been nice to display the ''live'' radiation rate at the bottom of the screen. Nice video!
Exactly, a missed opportunity
Perhaps that is the point...to show how normal things seem, or even how well nature does without us there.
