The rubber seal ring is supposed to be flat. If you use a round edged one it will make tool connection difficult. Solution.... Take a file and lightly flatten both making them as concentric as possible before reinstalling and it’ll make life easier. Alternatively you can just flip the old O-ring over and double its useful life. Cheers.
These have O-rings? I haven't seen any yet. Mine have flat 19/32 washers. Hard to find. Found bib washers but bibs are so damn stiff. I've got ten of these female chucks leaking. Do not want to buy more
My particular couplings use a thick rubber ring. You can flip them to get a bit more life, but I've found 1/4L faucet washers work well. You have to ream the inner diameter out a bit, then lube with a little silicone spray and put the valve stem in.
