I won a trivia question the other day because of you guys! It asked what to bring on a wilderness survival trip and we had to select all the items and I picked all the correct ones I just thought “what would they essentially bring” haha
I have never seen snow. But as an autistic person, I also hate layers of clothes cos it feels too restrictive. So I’m gonna pass on the snow of it means that many clothes and stay in the tropics!!
This is so neat! Yall have learned so much from experience. I’m curious, do you film with a small camera? Something portable? Cause the quality is always great!
I love watching your videos! Do you guys ever use jerky or nuts for your trips? I was just curious since they are usually a good source of protein and natural fats
It was between -35⁰C and -30⁰C for a whole week 2nd week of Jan where I live (northern Sweden). Now when people tell me it's cold at -14⁰C I wonder why they are even bothering to call that cold. Just another sunny winter's day in my neck of the woods. This evening....? A balmy -17⁰C Frefreshing
It still amazes me how much the Gulf Stream raises the temperature so much at that latitude in Europe. That is very warm compared to most of the rest of the world at that latitude.
Is there a rule of thumb for larger shoes or boots when layering socks? I have had some trouble with the larger size shoe being too long and tripping me.
Wide toe helps, rounder more than pointy which sorta helps, but I live up here and call me crazy but if you put on warm socks, and plastic grocery bags then boots you'll stay so freaking warm, also latex gloves under regular gloves too
@@starlady333 thank you, I had not considered wider makes the shoe more rounded and easier to walk in. As a paramedic we wear rubber gloves under cheap regular gloves to stay warm when caring for patients outside during wisconsin winters. I'm excited to try the grocery bag tip.
That's so cool that you two found an adventure partner in each other! Love this!!!
You guys are awesome.
since middle school! you never fail to amaze me
Yeah I’ve got a lot of clothes that I’ve had for years & years & years but since middle school is impressive
I was tiny in middle school there would be no way I'd fit in my clothes 😂
It makes me so happy seeing couples that just seem like they were meant to be together. You two are such a perfect match ❤❤❤
I just saw David Goggins jog by behind you wearing nothing but socks.
She has such a great smile and she always seems to be smiling. As a couple they are very positive and energetic. Keep it up the two of you.
I didn’t think I’d see the 2 of you fishing 🎣
Ice fishing is the best!
@@reneeandtimare you not vegan?
Why? They vegan?

Nothing better than a winter adventure. 😊
Have you guys ever had anything scary or freaky happen while adventuring? I’m think paranormal, cryptid, or even wild life encounters?

“Since middle school” - I relate to this so much because I still got in my pants from 7th grade 🤣
That looks like super non UL gear from what I assumed were UL heads
How are y'all charging phones when you do this??

Only -12? T-shirt weather 😅
These two just out here doing side quests

Tons of nuts! And best of all -- spoons peanut butter!! We don't eat jerky, but lots of people love to eat it for protein on the trail!
I would do anything to be as simple and happy as these people
Do it, nobody’s stopping you
The relationship of my dreams ❤
Since middle school????😮
You need a fire or a source of heat
You said it 😂😊
Active & Passive yo!

“ I’ve had this shell since middle school”. 7000 women just unsubscribed. Lol
I wanted to see what you slept in - like a tent, or the rain cover you use during your regular camping.
Ill keep watching to hopefully see.
I find beauty watching solo hike videos but even more beauty when I see a couple who loves going on outdoor adventures together.
Is there a certain brand of insulated jacket you prefer over another? Fill power ?
You guys are too cute, love the videos and come walk in Ontario!
can we appriciate how they took all of this off outside??? just to put it back on??
You guys just have it down as far as what you really need! I love the blue too.
Keep living your adventures
We need some more content with your sister!!!
I hope you guys had a great Christmas 🫶🏻
Love seeing how safe and smart you guys are!
You and your son are living the dream!
I thought I was the only person who sweats when it’s cold even😭
My dream😩
You guys are amazing
So dope you get to experience this!

@wendyorides8337 ❤️ Thank you for your service! Stay warm!
-12°C 😄 It is warm. Why would you dress like it's -30°C outside?
Every person experiences temperature differently. What is "warm" to you may not be to others.
Respectfully, I watch you two with a kind of morbid fascination. No part of this looks appealing to me at all lol
Creepy smiles.
In southern Canada it is normal for it to -20 degrees Celsius, -12 degrees is a warm day in winter
