Excellent video - has most of the info that I need. However, I wish it also discussed the inks in detail or link to videos about how the different types of inks can be used until the fabric is ready.

Is this only ideal for sampling? Can this be use for low-mid size printing business?
Yes, it can. However it depends on the specific kind of business mind you. I operate this machine and can get a theoretical maximum of 200m (2 x 100m rolls of fabric, dependant on fabric type) of print per day out of it, since it can print overnight by itself. But this assumes that I have the right orders of course, so it depends on the particular print business you have in mind.
How many textiles can be printed in this machine ???

What's the difference between TS55-1800 and TX 300p-1800 ???
Hi Michael, the TS55-1800 is a dye sublimation printer. With the availability of Mini Jumbo Roll unit and 10L ink tanks, the TS55-1800 delivers higher productivity. The Tx300P-1800 MkII, however, gives you more options. It can print both on paper and direct-to-fabric using its dual ink capability. In dual ink configuration, you can choose two of the following inks: sublimation transfer (paper), direct sublimation and textile pigment (direct-to-fabric). This allows you to print on more materials with one machine. The Tx300P-1800 MkII is especially suitable for small-runs, textile sampling, and on-demand printing.

Can you load reactive ink with direct sublimation as a dual configuration or is it only pigment inks?
Hi, sorry for the late reply! We can only load two of the following inks for dual configuration: sublimation transfer, textile pigment and direct sublimation.
Is there a reason why as I am sure these inks do not mix. So let’s see one can use the printer with reactive inks or one can use the printer with a mix of sublimation and pigment inks.
@@m77ast Hello, as explained in the video, the inks are not mixed. Four print heads will be loaded with one ink, and the other four heads can be loaded with another. When you want to print on transfer paper, the machine will use the sublimation ink. When you want to print direct-to-textile, the machine uses either textile pigment or direct sublimation ink.
MimakiEurope I understand that - thanks my question is - since the inks are not mixed why can we not have reactive inks one one set and sublimation inks on another?
We prefer reactive inks to the pigment inks.

If the material contains at least 40% of polyester. we can use our sublimation printers (e.g. Tx300P MkII or TS55) and a heat press table. For 100% cotton, we can use reactive ink. However, it's best to contact your local Mimaki reseller for consultation and testing first.
