I just realized I put in the Thrawn section twice. I could have sworn that I had deleted the other take… I do apologize for that dumb mistake, and will most certainly endeavour to be more attentive next time (which means not being distracted with my dog while editing lol).
Don't worry about it that much, I've always found little editing mistakes like that to be part of the charm of RUclips videos. Some of the other bigger channels can feel almost too perfect at times.
See this is exactly what UCS could become. We could get both huge and visually impressive sets that are meant solely for display, while also having some sets that are visually impressive and displayable but compromise on some features to be bale to have well thought out interiors like this. What an outstanding job!!
I wouldn't be opposed if Lego made 2 versions of all UCS sets that need it.. Where it is the exact same set but one has a full interior and one has no interior(maybe none or less minifigs) and is far cheaper. If they sold a star destroyer, venator, death star, etc, that were large enough for an interior with 10-15+ characters to fill out the full space and fit the scene, and then another one with no interior but otherwise the same exterior build. Star Destroyer for $1200(full system) and Star Destroyer for $800(display only). That way people get cheaper versions of the sets they want for display and people who want full interiors and a large number of minifigures get the full proper thing but more expensive. I feel like that would be mostly a win-win for lego. Only issue I would see with this method would be that they need double the display/storing space in stores for 2 of the same set.. but they dont have too many UCS sets for sale at a time anyways, so maybe it wouldn't be a big problem.
I am very happy with how this upgrade turned out, and I hope you do too! I know this is more or less a re-release of my original first video, and while I certainly do not want to content farm or anything, I do recognize that this has a lot of the same content in it as the old one did. I just want whoever may not have seen the other one to see this and have a complete picture of it without needing to go back and watch something else. As always, thank you all very much for watching, and Soli Deo Gloria!
@@BrickCustoms25 The way it went was that I was never truly satisfied with how the first one looked. for a little context, I play a miniatures board game called Star Wars Armada, which centers around capital ship combat. I took their ISD miniature and tried to build as close as I could to how it looked as possible, as it is extremely detailed and mostly accurate to the films.
@ I have but I prefer large scale sets that still include an interior, I know most people who buy sets at that scale don’t care about that but really why not add one for the three people who would want it (AKA Me)
I think maybe the exterior proportions are off, but who could care when there's a full working interior. I think the interior is the beautiful, great work!
While admittedly I miss the speeder bays from the first one, as well as the bridge on this one looking a little small, I can’t deny that the overall quality and accuracy has gone up tremendously! It really is cool to see how much improvement can be made even over just a few months. I love the addition of the walkways in the hangar leading to the front, as well as turning the atrium in the front of the super center into a full on office, and I can’t wait to see the redesign for the landing craft! Excellent work, my friend!
I actually did all of this within the past two weeks. I will admit I spent way more time on it than I should have responsibly, but it is what it is. The speeders can still fit in the side halls, but I do guess the purpose is not the same. Thank you for your continued viewing, and have a blessed day.
@@MagnusOrkzyd No problem. I always love seeing what new and innovative ideas and designs people come up with. And even if this was mostly done in two weeks, it still shows how far you’ve come since starting this channel. I hope you have a blessed day too!
@@terminatort9254 I just realized it said 'u spent way more time on it than I did'. It was supposed to say that I spent too much time on it. I hope I did not insult in any way! But still, thanks as always.
This MOC is a huge impovement from the past version but might I suggest adding lighting into the build like “lightmybricks” products I believe it would really elevate the look and compliment the entire build even better
I have considered it, but I tend to never use non Lego parts on stuff. I will wholly say that is a great idea and would increase the visuals 10x over, but that I would not do it probably out of 'Lego purism'.
Man pure talent, the more the video went on, the more my jaw was dropping, the detail you put in was amazing, i cant wait to see more of your stuff in the future ;) if u were in charge of designing star wars lego sets i would be broke lol
Pretty much perfect! Only nitpick would be the pilot in the hanger, replace the fleshtone head with an all black or 2012 balaclava one to give the effect of the bodysuit all troopers wear when in uniform. Along with on the bridge the crew members hat are wrong, grey instead of black unless its ROTJ where the crews had black uniforms and hats. Otherwise Very well done sir!
I did kind of think of that, but I could not remember which ones were which. I figured black for pilots, grey hats for engineering or the scanning crew from ANH, and black hats for bridge crew. I guess the last two are switched around. I shall certainly make a note of that for next time, thank you!
This is so amazing! Please keep doing what you‘re doing. You would have made a much better job, if you would be a ucs builder for Lego. I just can‘t believe what of an amazing star destroyer you have build there. Not only the exterior seems much smoother than the ucs version, but to fit so much rooms in the interior with so cool ideas and intelligent features is just an unbelievable work of art. I absolutly appreciate this massive star destroyer and the time and frustation this must have taken. Brilliant work! Greetings from germany!
Dude you should definitely ask a building company (lego etc.) to bring out this model because all of these doesn't have a inner life so please public it to buy or bring a Instruction for it something like this really good
This is amazing I feel like Lego would neve pt so much effort into desgining a set that is visually exstatic and mentally stimulating I love that every single space is being used and not wasted. My only question is can you please do a venator I would love to see that,ps you have just gained a man child subscriber and all my likes please keep it up
Arrgghhh LOVE the full interior awesome job 🔥🔥💪 i am trying to make my own custom destroyer using the 75055, but I have some issues with the panels and the structure could you show more what you did with your ship ?! 🙏
Depending on if you are making it the same size or bigger, I would recommend making a simple technic frame for the floor, and then using hinge part 2429c01 (look it up on bricklink, it is very common) to connect walls to the base at an angle to part 54384 or 30355 (bricklink again, common piece). The walls hold the hull plating to the build using simple technic joists. This is more or less how all my ships are built. Its not terribly heavy, but it is very strong. I do very much hope that this has been helpful in at least some way and that I have been clear enough to understand. If you look back to my 3rd and 6th community posts on my channel, those photos should help a lot to visualize what I am saying.
I hope the new 2025 Death Star will be like this. Covered up and looking great while having good interior details to display different scenes throughout the movies.

What if you changed out the Mandalorian helmet for a Commander Gree P2 helmet to match the scene in rebels. Also an incredible build with many lovely techniques used
Do you have instructions for that? I really want to have that thing too and really would pay for that! Also, you are extremly talented. LEGO would sell that for literally 2000 bucks or even more, if they even could come up with something like that!
