Hey John. Love the videos. Would love to see some more business stuff. Maybe how you got started and what steps and approaches you took. Is it financially a lot to get started etc.. and the upkeep would love to see a video/videos on that. Keep up the good work buddy 👍
@@mattparkinson3954 thank you for the positivity 🙏🏼 brilliant, business is my job and my main hobbie, so enthusiastic to make more on that video. I haven't made a full 'how I started Murgs' video, I'll add that to the list 😎
All the respect mate for being so transparent and open about being in a bad spot in life, many people can't admit it due to their own pride and ego. The first step to making positive change is to recognise the problems in the first place. I've recently been rather despondent about life and felt like I've been stuck in a perpetual circle. But something happened recently which gave me a huge epiphany of what I actually need to do to actively improve my life; mainly in the form of eliminating bad habits and tackling problems head on rather than burying my head in the sand. I've been committed to improving myself for over a month now and can safely say I feel the best I've felt in a long time and feel life my life has trajectory again. I'll give examples. For context, I'm a gym rat (fully obsessed with bodybuilding) and have been for years, so I'd say I live a healthy lifestyle by society's standards. But for ages I would convince myself that my habits not conducive to my physique goals weren't that bad, when in reality they were. These include getting insufficient sleep, snacking on junk/drinking energy drinks and reluctance to do cardio. One day I just made the decision to rectify them all and I can now safely say I'm the proudest of my physique I've ever been and performance in the gym is better than ever. It was tough at first but I learnt to master discipline. As a result of this its inspired me to focus on improving other aspects of life and like I said, I feel like my life suddenly has direction again. I think the bottom line of what I'm saying is that health is the most important thing in life. Whether you realise it or not, when you make a commitment to be the healthiest version of yourself, your general state of wellbeing will radically improve which overflows into every aspect of life. So make it a full blown priority to exercise daily, eat healthy and get sufficient sleep. Even when it feels like your life is falling apart, maintaining good health will keep you afloat. Great job for going to the gym but honestly cut out the unhealthy meal deals and energy drinks, they ain't worth it man and I'd argue they can even undo exercise progress. Diet is most important.
Apologies for the slow reply, I missed this comment by mistake. And you're absolutely right that diet is so so important. I'm so unhealthy at the moment and diet is one of the main factors. Energy drinks are too frequent, not enough micro nutrients and macros are terrible. I'm going to take inspiration from you and make a change, get back into a healthy body and hopefully a healthier mind. Thank you for taking the time to write this, it's comments like this that remind me why I make videos :)
@@Johns_busy Glad you recognise the importance of diet. Even though I have many burdens and problems taking up mental space at the moment, I feel good in a general wellbeing sense and I attribute it to eating purely whole foods and exercise. I know it’s extremely challenging to master the discipline to no longer eat the junk and energy drinks, but if I can do it YOU can 👊🏼 Recently I watched a fantastic video by a RUclipsr called James Sweetland titled “How I’d get jacked asap”. He talks about the fundamentals of bodybuilding and how to live a healthy lifestyle to facilitate the process. I can highly recommend watching it 👍🏼 I love to hear that my comment inspired you. I enjoy watching your videos, it’s refreshing to watch someone relatable talk so openly and frank
Ive seen your channel and seems that even though you arent big and hardly getting views, you still post. Keep it up and one day you will catch a break.
Tips to help everyone if they want to improve lifestyle: Exercise: do something you enjoy, find a sport or challenges to work towards to keep you motivated. Couch to 5k, football, 30 day challenges are great! Meditation: practice breathwork, gratitude and guided stress meditations Diet: cook food you enjoy and are tasty! If you try to eat foods which aren't filling it is more likely to encourage snacking and junk food in the evenings. You can combine things together like taking a walk to a peaceful place and meditating. Taking the family for a picnic and playing some sports on the park ect I think with changing a lifestyle it's to do it in small habits that you can stick to and not having a mindset of this being a chore and more having the mindset of this is how you want to live. I hope some of this maybe helpful 😊
i don't know why this video was recommended to me, but I just wanted to say that I could tell you were british instantly from the way you said "right", there's like a slight 's' after the very hard 't', that's how I could tell.
I would advise not to make OCD a physical label. OCD is more of a symptom in of itself. I would say you have adrenal fatigue which can be fixed by targeted nutrition/supplements (entirely) aided by high level activity, basically treating yourself like an athlete to fix this. Don't blame your surroundings too much. Chronic stress is a result of cumulative trauma, even if that trauma a bad diet and doing no exercise. You will NOT fix this if you don't start eating clean, don't eat anything that doesn't go off. Thats square one. Get yourself booked in for an NHS blood test to see if you have any deficiencies. You want to look at iron, magnesium, b12/folate. Ask your doctor. Ive had this and fixed it, if you want my help let me know.
