Young man, I enjoy your quirky and nerdy review nature. Don’t change to try to be like other people, keep being the great tech dweeb that you are, and your followers will come. Thanks for another great video. 🖖
I love these Mini pc's and the performance really improved over the years. But without a dedicated graphics card it is limited. I can see that one day they will develop a dedicated mini graphics card for a Mini pc's. Thanks for the great video.
This would be fantastic for emulation, so that alone would be worth the price just to have some kind of powerful emulation machine for your living room. Another fantastic review!
I don't have an issue with anything like my feet hurting when I'm at heights in video games but man, I get some serious acrophobia. It's pretty jarring, particularly in FPS games (of course).
It happens with me, I hate heights(not like fear I just fell uncomfortable IRL and in games), in fact I have hyperhidrosis since I was a kid and my hands and feet get all sweaty because I get nervous in situations like these, of course it used to be more wet(uuhh) even on school by writing essays or doing home chores, but as you grow and learn to manage your emotions the amount of sweat either stops or lessens. For example if I start playing a easygoing/chill game my hands don't sweat but if it's something related to quick inputs or jumping over cliffs then oh boy I have to dry my hands often. I finished Celeste like 3 days ago for the first time and yeah the sweat happened a lot.
AI - a solution in search of a problem. Useless garbage included in a mini pc because it's the "new thing" and they can charge you more for it even though it does nothing. Great.
Thanks buddy. I was struggling to come up with a way to compare and score mini PCs because there's so many factors. I hope the report card will work well for that.
I liked this video. The new format works for me. The PC looks fine, I do wonder if the type c is usb 4 to support external GPU though. I would never buy an Intel APU for games, not so much for performance reasons, but for drivers reasons. Especially since I like playing as much older games as newer ones. Otherwise for work it looks fine. I do wonder how good it will be for video editing (how good is this version of quicksync?) and how good or bad are the temps.
I am unabashedly afraid of heights, and anytime a movie or game gives me an aerial view that highlights height, my feet get immediately sweaty. no pain tho.
Its just about mind over matter, you have to convince yourself its not a problem, then its not. I went skydiving to prove that to myself, and I was right.
I can totally relate on the feet hurting when high up! It's weird, like i'm already losing my grip and starting to fall... Man, it sucks... My wife thinks I'm crazy 😅
as soon as i heard it has AI i new it would be stupid... and it kind of is. for the price. i guess if there was no ai chip, it would have been cheaper, which would make it ok, but it has to have an ai chip that you can't used for anything, other that increasing the price
I am a Non-System Dweeb, if anything, so of course the introduction of NPUs into my already sketchy understanding of computing has increased my spinal fluid pressure. Will future computational workloads be dependant on AI and machine learning instead of just being enhanced by them? Will integrated NPUs jump off the board, so to speak, and become dedicated componants? And what of the children? Won't anyone think of the children?
Yeah time will tell. Right now there's not really any programs that use the AI hardware, but this is early stages. If it becomes an integral part of computing over the next few years I can definitely see AI tech being an add-on component. It'll just depend on what it's actually used for that'll determine what the hardware needs are. I can't think of a real practical application for it on home computers, but I'm open to the possibilities. And the children will be fine, don't worry. They'll be AI too soon enough.
I completely agree with you on Unity. I hear a lot of hate for that one but I loved it. I felt of the older style it was the best. But then again most love black flag and I couldn’t stand that one. Great video Dweeb!
Yeah. First wave of a new generation of CPU always end up being more expensive. I'm sure the price will come down when we have more Intel "Core" mini PCs flood the market.
You played so much into the A.I. theme, its sad to not see you actually use the NPU and run a local LLM, otherwise great video! Glad to see what intel is doing with these new packages.
These mini pcs are getting good. I remember when I paid $1600 for a Dell laptop when they had core 2 duos back in the mid 2000s and it was essentially good for solitaire and GTA 3😂. I tried one AAA title at the time and boy oh boy, it was getting a fraction of a fps. Took 20 minutes to get to the menu😂 Point is be grateful.
The format you used on this one is great. Yes please on the report card and the game playing instead of boring stats is also a good thing. As for this PC...I'll pass. I could build a nice miniITX with much superior performance all around for that money. Still, it's nice to see Intel at least trying here, and that's not a bad thing. Thanks as always Mr. Dweeb, awesome video! Oh, and , I really have issues with heights in games too....it makes my head go all dizzy and stuff.
Yeah not the best value Mini PC in terms of just gaming. This always happens when there is a new wave of processors. The first batch are always more expensive because of the 'new' factor.
@@TechDweebSadly it looks like Intel is having the same issue with handhelds with the MSI Claw, too much money for not a lot more than the competition. But I guess they have to start somewhere to get the ball rolling for them. I look forward to whatever they have down the road 😊
Whatever happened to AI that just wants to take over the world? I would gladly give up Mr. Connor down the road for the task. New AI these days is just filled with snark and vinegar.
Some constructive criticism would be to drop the "gigglebyte" and "ddddddddr" stuff because it undermines your knowledge and the otherwise great scripts. Generally your content is enjoyable, but this small thing makes me want to switch off.

I appreciate that!
If My computer started talking back like that one, I would take it out back and go "office space" on it, lol.
I like that you’re actually playing the game instead of doing a benchmark run.
Report card is a nice touch too.
We need a AI powered mini pc with the AI voice of K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider and have the lights used when he talks.
I like the way you think!
I love these Mini pc's and the performance really improved over the years. But without a dedicated graphics card it is limited. I can see that one day they will develop a dedicated mini graphics card for a Mini pc's. Thanks for the great video.
1000 bucks will get you a better gaming pc
Definitely. If gaming is priority this isn't the best choice.
Pretty sure it can play MC Java and doom. Maybe eternal.
@@GeenKylebetter gaming PC can play all that 100x better
Thank you TD!!!
Solid system.. my only quip is that it doesn't have more USB C holes for that price
Your channel is helping me decide on what mini pcs i want to buy for my gaming lounge i plan to open in my town 😊
This would be fantastic for emulation, so that alone would be worth the price just to have some kind of powerful emulation machine for your living room. Another fantastic review!
Yeah I probably should have done some emulation tests. Next vid 👍
@@TechDweebYou're too good to us!

It would be really cool to have something for running various AIs... but it sounds like it'll be a while before that's easy to do.

Wizbox in german translates as joke-box. Is that what this is? I mean, April is just around the corner...

I love the concept of mini PCs, Too bad that for $1000 you can buy two Steam decks and a chocolate bar
Also the report card idea is nice😎
I only played AC4 Black Flag on my Switch because the series never interested me but MAN to this day Black Flag is such a great pirate game!
I really like that report card idea! And yeah, it's crazy how performant these tiny machines are. It always makes me excited to see what comes next! 💚

It's just expensive because it's the first Intel "Core" mini PC to hit the market. Always end up paying the "new and shiny" tax :/
Usb holes you say?
Fun vid! I loved seeing all the assassin’s creed stuff
Yikes, a 1k GAMING pc and it can't even play Unity at 720p at stable 30fps.. my GTX 1060 can play it at 1080p 60fps

Hey I was wondering if you're going to do a review on the new super console X5 Pro
That price is too much for it
Be cool if you added emulation performance to your report card.
Solid suggestion 👍
THATS EXPENSIVE.
Too expensive in my humble opinion
Yeah. First wave of a new generation of CPU always end up being more expensive. I'm sure the price will come down when we have more Intel "Core" mini PCs flood the market.

Aggressive ai 👀
I don't know if facial hair works for you. I won't rule out that it could just be poorly drawn, but your art is usually close to photorealistic.
I want a PC that insults me. 😢
there's no AI if there's not a face in it, when will they start learning

There is one, at 1:43
wth I was on board with it till the price. get a deck or ally for almost half the price with double the performance and features.
