Literally everything. I'm always jumping in solo and I'm definitely bottom 1% skill wise. I play because the game is visually and audibly satisfying, I have no chance to get a kill unless I catch someone from behind.
Call outs, I'm great at telling my team where enemies are but TERRIBLE at letting them know when I;m ready to push or if I'm going for a flank 😅
Everything
My big 3 are
1) Finish slippery targets faster (Legends with escape tools)
2) Checking my ego (Not oversending a fight/over-peeking)
3) Covering my teammates better. I see & call plays faster than my teammate's typically (whether they be looting or just slow in general) and move ahead of them a touch too quickly then we get separated and destroyed. Making sure they're not falling behind/covering when they move is something I have to work on
As a slippery Octane I gotta say if I'm bolting, you'd better finish me or I'll try my hardest to be back if I can

I think one of the big things, at least from what I've seen, is utilize abilities every chance you can. Ash's snare, rev's silence, e.t.c. It always seems like getting someone stuck with a snare or something like that can be very good for resetting engagements.
That looting one is huge. A lot of teammates of mine take a minute or two to loot a building when it should take 20 seconds max. It's like people staring inside a fridge thinking new food will magically appear in front of them
Yeah for sure. Just get the basics to be efficient and take a fight. Especially in the early game. If you get anything decent there's a good chance you are just better equipped than the enemy.
Here’s a big thing with healing. Knowing when to heal and when not to, if you have 1 or two knocks and you have a team mate or both up still and they swing. Dont sit there and waste time healing, peak with them finish off the team and shield swap. So many people waste 5 seconds, which causes their team mate to go down or even both of them and now youre dead in the water for a third party when you could havw just got free dmg and finished off the fight
To add on if the enemy team is trying to gain space, and they crack you, sometimes repeaking from a diff spot and dealing dmg as they try gaining ground is better than hiding and healing.
Good teams will expect you yo hide or run and if you instead deny them space and force them to heal it gives you so much more breathing room
I always get randoms that hot drop die and quit it is so frustrating!

I absolutely hate 3rd parties one moment our squad is popping off one clipping this squad, then out of no where some random kids come in and finish us up.
Yeah its pretty deflating. Best way is to finish the fight as quick as possible.

Why does ranked Apex force me to play against Platinum players when I'm bronze? Is ranked really that broken?
This is really good advice. I had a player the other night who thought he was amazing. He ran straight into enemies and pinged and pinged and we joined the fight late each time winning. I told him twice to stop pushing ahead because as soon as he ran into a good team he would be dead. Of course he ran into a team got knocked and I was last standing. On came his Mike and he raged at me to do something. I killed the remaining enemies and raised them both and of course he whined I was a terrible pkayer and he was amazing and i had to just follow him . Told him to just switch his Mike back off. He got jumped again and died this time with me 100 metres away giving hemlock cover fire. Ranting again I left him to it and got 2nd place (plat ranked) these guys think they are good because they can shoot. But they have zero tactical skill and run into trouble more times than not. They also don't realise how the game isn't about them and its exhausting to try to protect them. Tldr don't run off on your own work as a team and don't whine when you die alone you are not a good player if you left your team.

Lol straight off ranked to this video and I'll tell you this.. me and my squad was literally destroying this team then we got third partied... I focused on the two players that third partied but my teammates lost to the lasy guy on the first team.. guess who didn't tell me that the gibby revived he's teammates.. as i was going to pop off hoping it was one lasy weak player i got destroyed 💔.. it was fun 😊

Yes I am a lvl 36😂 and play with plats and diamonds bc my teammates are lvl 349
I have k/d ratio of 0.7 with 900 hours in the game. Am I a bad player
Idk I have 0.88 with 200 something hours but I'm trying to get it higher.
@@aaronj.5414 I played first 400 hours on my gtx 750 at 40-50 fps. Now playing at 144 fps. It's helping me to play better.
@maxi1696 yeah your kd might be lower since you were playing with low frames. Just keep trying to improve and your kd will go up for sure

Definitely need a squad solo queue is dog poop on console don't about pc lobbies.
Apex as a solo is deff. brutal.
