Smelter still works great in 1.21! Ofcourse not the bamboo farm. But the smelter still rocks. After all this time still my go to design, thx so much iskall!
3:53 NOT TRUE! You NEED to use ice. If you don't use ice only the first set of 16 furnaces will deliver the items to you since the ice is used to make the items slip over the pressure plates. If you use any other block the items will get stuck there. You could however change the design ever so slightly and step down the water streams each time to make it work without using ice.
Really nice supersmelter :) Just built it in survival on 1.14.4 but cannot get the mine-carts to be released in sync. Anyone else getting this problem? Double-checked the repeaters like a dozen times :/ Update 1: rebuilt the mine-cart release mechanism 2 times in a redstone testing world: 1) facing N-S: having the same problems a in survival. 2) facing E-W: no issues what so ever. @iskall85 could your odd timings on the Hermitcraft sever be coming from that orientation issue? Is so: how did you fix them there? Single repeater ticks don't seem to fix it for me. It's more like half a repeater-tick off. I'm a little bit lost here ^^' Update 2: I narrowed the problem down to the detector rail / comparator reacting to the items in the hopper mine-carts: in N-S orientation it is a very inconsistent time differential between the two firing of nearly unnoticeable to up to a second..
In case you built in in east/west direction: note blocks in between the solid blocks on top of the pistons should solve the problem. The pistons just need a little update to realize they are powered :D
Will it work in PE please tell me I need to know because i don’t want to waste my time building it in my world. (I know that the bamboo part won’t work) But I want to know about the smelter

I replaced the iron pressure plate with a gold one and it seemed to fix the problem :)
I ligit was trying to copy this from hermit craft yesterday
unknown same
Your life just became easier then
Sad
Just built this, but instead of 64 furnaces, I made it with 256 furnaces. I AM SPEED.
Iskall you were supposed to place note blocks on top of the pistons u silly boy
Silas Robot which ones
@@tobyvicos8563 The note blocks should go on top of the sticky pistons that push the dirt back and forth. They get powered through the solid blocks that the observers fire into and update the sticky pistons so they "know" to get extend
Smelter still works great in 1.21! Ofcourse not the bamboo farm. But the smelter still rocks. After all this time still my go to design, thx so much iskall!

Iskall thats a repeater not a piston.
How do you put pistons on 4 ticks?
Put a repeater on the side of it and set it to 4 ticks
Quick reminder to use redstone torches instead if repeaters on the redstone wire
Rubilopz Yt which wire are you talking about?
Iskall: No plans for Mojang to remove it
Mojang: *fixes 0 tick farms next day*
in which version is it fixed? 1.14.3?
@@kubaknyspel8581 So is this fixed?
@@drunkenmonkeyflamer6054 i don't know, that's why I ask
@@drunkenmonkeyflamer6054 it isn't fixed
2 things I wish iskall did more that I don’t blame him for not doing due to time commitment being prohibitive:
1) upload more
2) tutorials
Iskall u made the lava fuel disposal thing obsolete with the repeaters
Clemente Schmidt I saw this and I had to see if anyone else did too XD
Iskall I love you doing tutorials and redstone videos, please keep doing them!
Have to try this. If its pozitive or negative ill come back. Because literally from 5 stack sand i only got like 50 glass
Another finetastic video! I love it when you make tutorials.
Really nice supersmelter :) Just built it in survival on 1.14.4 but cannot get the mine-carts to be released in sync. Anyone else getting this problem? Double-checked the repeaters like a dozen times :/
Update 1: rebuilt the mine-cart release mechanism 2 times in a redstone testing world:
1) facing N-S: having the same problems a in survival.
2) facing E-W: no issues what so ever.
@iskall85 could your odd timings on the Hermitcraft sever be coming from that orientation issue? Is so: how did you fix them there? Single repeater ticks don't seem to fix it for me. It's more like half a repeater-tick off. I'm a little bit lost here ^^'
Update 2: I narrowed the problem down to the detector rail / comparator reacting to the items in the hopper mine-carts: in N-S orientation it is a very inconsistent time differential between the two firing of nearly unnoticeable to up to a second..
Having the same issue :(
thank you for your amazing design! i expanded it to 108 furnaces and it's absolutely amazing!
You should build a giant ice dome around mumbos base on hermitcraft >:D
He would just like that..
@@simon.va1 yes
It works flawlessly.
It's awesome
Fully recomended
Please correct me if I'm wrong. Doesn't the repeaters you place off the detector rail block your over flow system?
thats what I was thinking
I did some testing and ill replace them with top slabs
@@gabewalden3281 that's what I did and it seems to be working fine after a few hours of testing
This is amazing! Thanks for the tutorial!
you can use just 2 carpet duper instead of bamboo... they are much smaller
That’s even more cheaty tho ארבל פלדמ
In case you built in in east/west direction: note blocks in between the solid blocks on top of the pistons should solve the problem. The pistons just need a little update to realize they are powered :D
ive just realized how much this design resembles a, uh, nothing,
John Adams yeah the first time a friend used mine like this sure asked me if it was intended look like a tallywhacker
Lmao
Best Super Smelter I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE GOOD JOB ISKALL!
Why am I losing 16 items for every stack? I can't figure it out!
SAME DID YOU FIND A SOLUTION
Omg same I need help
Same problem i am on my online server (aternos). İ literally threw in 5 stack sand and got under 1 stack glass.
I lost them at the dropper near to the farms. Solved it with making the item stream some longer
Mine kept getting stuck on the pressure plates under the droppers.
If you're new to iskall's channel, he always invents new words
Keep it up iskallium
Your Empire State Building has been shortened
Amazing smelter
Will it work in PE please tell me I need to know because i don’t want to waste my time building it in my world. (I know that the bamboo part won’t work) But I want to know about the smelter
No it won't. :( As neither bedrock nor PE have zero-tick
SCRT091605 the water streams will not be as fast and loaders are harder to make but apart from the bamboo it should work.
I dont know if this design of the bamboo farm will work but you can still do an other design
Nice video Iskall!
Can you use blast furnaces to make it go even faster?
Only if you're only going to smelt ores, blast furnaces only work with iron/gold/coal/lapis/redstone/emerald/diamond ore. Basically anything that looks like a stone block with fruity pebbles in it. ...And I guess licorice pebbles for the coal ore.
who else got extreamly scared when iskall had a water bucket next to redstone in his hotbar. My heartbeat reached 5000 beats per minute and i was thinking "CAREFULL ISKALL DONT DESTROY YOUR BUILD!!!"
100% working in 1.15.2!
It wont in 1.16
@@spinodino9563 Why not?
RamonTheBlu They are removing zero tick farms in 1.16, which means you cant use the bamboo farm as the fuel as Iskall did in the vid. Instead, you have to make a huuuge legit bamboo farm with flying machines to get the fuel again in 1.16.
@@spinodino9563 if you are cool with carpet dupe msg me and ill send you a copy of a world download modifying this design.

Cool super smelter! Had the same idea for this in my head too. I'm just too noob with redstone
I used to be a noob at redstone too now im pretty good if u want help I could help you if you have pocket or Windows 10 edition but if you don't I recommend watching mumbo jumbos videos some of them explain redstone components and gates very well

You should add a "materials needed" legend, to these types of videos so it's easier to prepare before starting to make what ever the video is about, like for this one you would need -128 hoppers, about 20 observers, a bunch of sticky pistons, and a lot of other stuff.
