For dummies/casuals like Me who don't know every perk in the game, here's a rundown of the Claudettes' game-plan: All three of them were running three perks - Iron Will, Lucky Break, and Still Sight. Iron Will silences the grunts of pain that your character makes when injured, Lucky Break hides all scratch marks and pools of blood while injured, and Still Sight gives you aura-vision of the Killer after standing still and doing nothing for a few seconds. Two of them were running Distortion - a perk that hides your aura from the Killer if the Killer has any aura-vision perks - and one of them was running Open-Handed, which boosts the aura-vision radius of everyone on your team. The gameplan was: Stand still, and either shift position very slowly as needed or continuously drop their handheld item over and over, to avoid the game's built-in AFK detection, then use the aura-vision provided by Still Sight to see the Killer and avoid them while leaving the other survivor for dead. If the killer finds them, the plan is/was to immediately break line-of-sight and then hide again; Lucky Break and Iron Will help make it incredibly hard for the Killer to track them, which means they can either meet up and heal each other or just continue to hide while injured. This is a VERY nasty build, and deliberately so, especially considering the offerings used. They really, REALLY wanted to make both the odd survivor out AND the killer have an awful time for an hour.

One of the proudest moments of my dbd career.
That whole 15 minutes thing is bullshit. It’s way too long plus us players should not know the numbers in the first place, otherwise you’ll get people who do nothing for 14.5 minutes, then bang out a gen, then back to hiding. I seriously hope that is not the actual metric BHVR is going off of when deciding on bans for this sort of behavior.

I sent that because I was clown and had a mori and btw I only played with these guys 3 times doing this stupid hiding crap. I was there bubba and I found them pretty quickly and after that they convinced me to join them. I’m not getting banned screw that
They need to make a distortion type mechanic where gens are highlighted for survivors, and the survivors are temporarily highlighted for the killer. This idea of survivors being “too scared, or not knowing where the gens are” is such a cop out.
BHVR needs to give the killer a feature to where if gens aren’t touched or completed in a certain amount of time we can see the aura of survivors. I mean they have base kit endurance & borrowed time and it’s only survivors that can hold the game hostage by NOT doing gens.
@claudussy8824 It's hard to let the survivor know that's what you are doing.I had a similar match, and put my back to the back side of the hook and looked away, but they just thought I was camping and gave up anyway. Actually, every time I've tried to intentionally give anti-camp, the survivors just see it as toxic and either DC or give up 😪
Oh no way, I played with two of those Claude’s last week. One messaged me to bring a murky offering and informed me they planned to hold killer hostage for fun so I just kms on hook to go next. that "GimmeDatSnap" person is someone I played against twice as Skull Merchant and I tunneled and bled them out both times. They would pretend to unhook their teammates and just do nothing the whole game.
I remember actually playing hide-n-seek with 4 man, but we actually used pebbles and bonds to trying to find one of us instead. This way killer doesn't actually mindlessly running around the map. If someone got spotted, it immediatly gives up and doesn't initate chase at all (after all, it is hide-n-seek)
Man people actually do this? Like, I love trying to play hide and seek as claudette, but I at least try to do the gens. If anything, that is what makes it fun because it is actually really hard to stealth away from a gen against good killers.
Can't wait for the buffs to hit live. Nemmy is going to feel so much better to play. Still think they shouldn't get a speed burst at all but the buffs combined with licker tongue should negate a fair bit. Of course we know it won't last because potato survivors are the majority.
Agreed, shouldn't be any boost of speed. And yeah, the average survivor is so disgustingly bad at the game that the devs make nerfs and unfair changes to compensate. You go against survivors that know how to play and you see how weak you really are in most scenarios. Also, if they can't fix zombie AI somehow then there should be more zombies on the map to make up for it.
I had a similar match where there was only 3 gens left and my instinct was to patrol them (not a bannable offense to report over as i looked at the rules/TOS) and there was only 2 survivors left. 1 person was hiding while trying to do the objectives, and the other person LITERALLY hiding without doing a single gen. eventually after approximately 1 hour (maybe it was 30 minutes), I was getting upset and the person that was trying to objectives decided to show me where the other person was, and because i would almost NEVER see the dirty noob, they had a flashbang on top of it. I did not have any fun at all and i cringed so hard, i just wish if atleast one person is hiding and isn't doing objectives after 15 - 20 or more minutes, the game detects it and automatically shows position of all survivors with a "special" aura. I also felt bad for the Claudette that also had to deal with this, so i let them win. I am crying at the fact this was one of my matches that did indeed happen.
if 3 minutes pass and a chase didn’t start, the aura of all survivors even in lockers should be revealed until another chase starts. this can be in the beginning, middle or end of the match.
This would pretty much remove stealth from the game though. Hiding from the killer is an intended playstyle although the survivors in this vid were abusing it
I solo Q'd last night and had the same thing happen to me on this map. Just auras of Claudettes rapidly dropping items to prevent crows and moving every 30secs
I remember this happening to me when playing Trapper a few years ago, and there was one poor random as well. I didn't understand why they were just hiding, it was a very long game because I refused to DC since I was doing a challenge (and I'm stubborn). When I asked them after the game, they were high AND saying they wanted to play 'hide and seek' because it's scary when high. These guys Scott played may have been the same, changing the game to suit their fun without thinking about the others in the game. While I get that they wanted to play the game differently for fun, the fact that both myself and the random didn't get a say in it was disrespectful (Same for in Scott's game). We went in thinking we're playing one game and learn mid game that it's a totally different game we didn't agreed to. They should have gotten into a custom match instead of ruining the game for other for their own 'fun'.
Exactly. (As a solo Q myself, idm what he did here as it has been done to me) In a completely separate situation sometimes killers will do this to every survivor in a match. I notice it happens more frequently if there’s someone who puts ttv in their name. Even sometimes juggling to draw the game out. Which leads to a game that is 16+ minutes of people just on the ground alone, not including gens work or chases. I feel like if you slug with no real reason (like dropping a survivor under a hook instead of hooking them). I get that they die from bleeding out, but some killers will juggle you to no let that happen faster than it should. Even if the game progresses itself via bleed out, not due to the killer hooking to make it infinitely times faster, this creates an unfun situation that chases players away (when they’re punished for playing normally, not ones intentionally stalling). On the survivor side of the vid, this should definitely be a bannable offense.
What do you mean people stop playing? According to Steamcharts its stays pretty dam popular. Now I agree with you that the game is in a bad state, I quit it myself 2 and a half year ago.
@@KatyaAbc575 I dont think the game is in a bad state. I think the community is in a really bad state if anything because it's the community that makes the game look worse than it actually is by being toxic and a nuisance.
I had a game as billy on RPD earlier and a Feng (that brought the offering) just sat in a locker in the basement while I was taking the other three out and hooking them. Because she wasn't moving she had three crows flying above her. So I walked into the basement, grabbed her from the locker then just left her on floor to bleed out instead of hooking her. Im usually quite chilled on killer and give last person hatch as i mainly play survior, but she fully deserved the bleed out.
I literally had people doing this to me on my second ever game, genuinely had no idea what what was going in, checking lockers and everything, thought it had glitched, now I see it's because of this map. How frustrating.
I've seen their build a few times, open handed with still sight is bs, they see you before they hear a terror radius and you're fucked if you don't have Undetectable, aura reading (although there isn't much that would help this scenario). Still Sight doesn't even give you the aura reading while on a gen, you have to be doing nothing to get it. Even if it was a 4-man I think this is bullshit and def should not be encouraged but punished. 15 mins of not touching gens being ban-worthy should be shorter, there is NO situation where you can't touch a gen a single time in even 5 minutes
One time I had a match of Badham that I had no business winning and something similar to this happened. I was playing pre-buff Twinkster for a daily on Xbox, this was during the Made for This days, and I noticed that I was doing suspiciously well, having 6 hooks at 4 gens left. Eventually I got a message from someone in the match saying that the Jake was actively trolling them by refusing to unheal/hook/etc and destroying generators with Technician. I hopped on their stream on my laptop, found the Jake (who understandably sucked ass in chase), and the other three survivors came to the hook and started teabagging and pointing at him. I had finished my challenge and everyone else was dead on hook by this point, so I just let the rest of em go.
Instead of banning players like this, BHVR should start giving out indicators like strikes or marks to their profile indicating they like to play like this. That way once I see that, then I can play accordingly. Aka face camping and hitting on the hook repeatedly until death.
instead of doing that dumb idea, why not just fix the game so both sides are unable do any of this bullshit? let me guess… because it includes removing slugging camping and tunnelling, which is all you do?
@@Efnol If that's all I do, then why would I ask for something specifically to indicate when it should be used or not. Also "just fix the game" smooth brain over here. Good take on that one. No one thought of that!
Nah he had a key, he could just go to the gens while nemy sits on hatch and then go hide again, or run to the hatch if the nemy is watching him which would force nemy to down him again so he doesn’t open hatch or escape
It's things like this where I wish DBD had a concede button. The fact that you can have players that have the power to actively elongate the game past where it should be is stupid. I think that after a certain amount of time in a game, you should be allowed to just disconnect as a killer and not get penalized. Even if it's like 15 minutes into the match, that's at least something to help with this.
oh my god, i played against those guys a few days ago on an unknown win streak and they did the same thing to me lmao, i did the same thing u did to them
if you find a group doing this but theres a fourth man not. After hooking the non troll, throw a couple of punches out away from hook and facecamp so they can unhook themselves and help you track down the others. Ive done this before with an alien.
This is happening more and more. So many games yesterday where survivors didn’t wanna rescue or or down to 1 gen and 2 survivors. They don’t wanna do anything but hide and wait for the other to die. I usually play by myself or with my boyfriend. (survivor main) and I’m finding the survivors do this l. Why even turn the game on if you aren’t gonna play?
I keep trail of torment MANDATORY to all my load outs bc people doing annoying stuff like this have no plan for it besides freak out and die trying to fix the trail gen or avoid it and get ambushed without their aura reads

Average clauddete swf
I will never understand why the removed the lobby ping indicator.
Same, i used to avoid large ping lobbies until i got my internet sorted
if 3 minutes pass and a chase didn’t start, the aura of all survivors even in lockers should be revealed until another chase starts. this can be in the beginning, middle or end of the match.
This would pretty much remove stealth from the game though. Hiding from the killer is an intended playstyle although the survivors in this vid were abusing it
Maybe not at the start of a match but definitely middle and end. Hiding and waiting out corrupt is a valid strategy, for example.
At the end of the match sure but at any other point no
@@sultanofswag8901good. Learn to loop noob. Just fkn try
@@VeilInfinity Make Lethal Pursuer basekit for all killers
This is most certainly a reportable offense because these Clods are literally doing NOTHING! This is holding the game hostage
You can tell they got good at hiding because god damn were they shit at looping the killer lmfao
Bless that poor Kate
This is a great example of why people stop playing this game.
The fact that camping and tunneling actually was the most viable strategy because they refused to do gens
That endgame chat was oddly wholesome 😂
I literally had people doing this to me on my second ever game, genuinely had no idea what what was going in, checking lockers and everything, thought it had glitched, now I see it's because of this map. How frustrating.
"Doing gens, you?"
All I could think.
They absolutely did deserve it. Kate didn't ask for this. #JusticeForKate
As a solo queuer, thank you Scott for this act of justice
Scott was playing Nemesis, but was channeling Executioner.
Awh, you slugging that claud gave me so much peace you have no idea. I would've slugged them all, except Kate, of course. She the homie
These clauds are the reason us actual good claudette mains get shit on
"Why not D/C and go next?" "Because then I don't get to kill them" Based
Instead of banning players like this, BHVR should start giving out indicators like strikes or marks to their profile indicating they like to play like this. That way once I see that, then I can play accordingly. Aka face camping and hitting on the hook repeatedly until death.
Fr they should do that 😂
instead of doing that dumb idea, why not just fix the game so both sides are unable do any of this bullshit?
let me guess… because it includes removing slugging camping and tunnelling, which is all you do?
@@Efnol If that's all I do, then why would I ask for something specifically to indicate when it should be used or not. Also "just fix the game" smooth brain over here. Good take on that one. No one thought of that!
Or just ban them
you could just do something more productive with your time
Should just give aura reveal on any survivor who doesnt either cleanse a totem, progress a gen 1%, heal a health state, unhook a survivor after 5m
Based Nemmy getting vengeance for Kate. Maximum petty and maximum wholesome
batman scott is not the hero we deserve, but the hero we need.
Making her do all 5 gens would actually be more diabolical than hiding XD
Nah he had a key, he could just go to the gens while nemy sits on hatch and then go hide again, or run to the hatch if the nemy is watching him which would force nemy to down him again so he doesn’t open hatch or escape
One thing that I do is that if there are people like this I would trigger anticamp by staying by the hook, letting Kate free
Our hero 🫡
It's things like this where I wish DBD had a concede button. The fact that you can have players that have the power to actively elongate the game past where it should be is stupid. I think that after a certain amount of time in a game, you should be allowed to just disconnect as a killer and not get penalized. Even if it's like 15 minutes into the match, that's at least something to help with this.
this is what holding the game hostage *actually* means
Obviously because they weren't playing, but I love that Kate got more BP than one of the Claudettes just for dtingnon hook
Nemesis's zombies were super useful for once
oh my god, i played against those guys a few days ago on an unknown win streak and they did the same thing to me lmao, i did the same thing u did to them
if you find a group doing this but theres a fourth man not. After hooking the non troll, throw a couple of punches out away from hook and facecamp so they can unhook themselves and help you track down the others. Ive done this before with an alien.
Got what they deserved, nice work as always Scott!
Next time this happens, you should trigger the face camping thing on Kate so she can help you find the Clauds
I lost it when u started punching lmao
This is happening more and more. So many games yesterday where survivors didn’t wanna rescue or or down to 1 gen and 2 survivors. They don’t wanna do anything but hide and wait for the other to die. I usually play by myself or with my boyfriend. (survivor main) and I’m finding the survivors do this l. Why even turn the game on if you aren’t gonna play?
SCOTT I JOINED THE STREAM TO THIS EXACT STARTING OF THE VIDEO
Always a good idea to bring at least one information perk.
Yeah I seen this before back at the swamp map I was sadako and some survivors has keys they are pretty bold of hiding it's very annoying
I keep trail of torment MANDATORY to all my load outs bc people doing annoying stuff like this have no plan for it besides freak out and die trying to fix the trail gen or avoid it and get ambushed without their aura reads
At least you don't ever lose a pain res stack.
Scott Jaundice strikes again
Its hilarious how the devs are well aware of this and actively refuse to fix the issues XD.
This is absolutely satisfying to watch.
Not all Claudettes, but somehow always a Claudette
8:55 I see you Claudette, on the left
Justice for Kate 🫡
Shouldn't have even needed to play the match. There's a plethora of solutions the Devs could implement to make this a non-problem.
this is an act of protest for that bodyblock ban incident
Despite me not playing this game anymore due to the devs being the anti fun police, I still watch scott cuz he chill asf. Love the content, much love from canada.
congrats on 200k!!
What makes it really sad is that behavior won't do anything because survivors are the ones holding the game hostage.
Same thing happened to me a while ago. Toba Landing and Fog offerings, all switched to Claudettes and spent the entire game hiding. Was playing Vanity Myers so finding them wasn't too terrible but that initial stalk was a pain :/
